What's up players! This is the forum thread for reporting feedback and bugs on the new vendor items and their associated feats. Enjoy new rewards from the Atlantean Quartermaster and Mutineer Quartermaster in the House of Legends, including new summer concert themed base items, styles, materials, and emotes! Along with these new rewards are new feats for acquiring them! New Feats: - Coarse and Rough - Dance with the Waves - Set the Stage Thank you so much for your feedback!
I haven't gotten a chance to try the items out myself since I'm a console player, but from what I've seen, I am so excited for this drop! The idea of free-floating scaffolding that hold weight (meaning you character can stand atop them) is absolutely fabulous and something a lot of us can utilize. These things are gonna be great be it bridging walkway gaps of pre-existing items, creating lattice/framework with walling or dividers, or even providing a whole new elevated surface all together for a mid-tier platform/loft in larger ceiling rooms. I really hope the team continues to experiment and release items like this at varying heights, both as flooring alternatives but also just floating objects in general we can place on surfaces too. I know the deco community has been asking for a Z-Axis overhaul for years, and while the time/resources needed to do so probably isn't in the cards, this might be our next best alternative. The stairs are also very promising. Again, I haven't been able to actually use them, but if their height matches that of the og base theme stairs, they'll be very useful for a lot of unorthodox layouts via clipping techniques. I think the stages are also nice for what they are and the empty ones will serve as useful elevations where the Creepy Lab/Atlantean Metal Tables can't. And for those wanting to make an actual rock stage, they're pretty perfect! The glow tubes are also very fun and I'm sure will be great alternatives to the Mist Containers for bold, colorful accents in bases that embrace the bright and vivid. I do have two points of feedback: one being the price point. I know 10 marks is the standard, and it's much more manageable than last year's 15 mark debacle, but from what I remember Summer only yields 10 marks a day as opposed to Spring and others which is in the mid-higher teens. Those extra few marks a day means a whole lot of difference when you're trying to farm for a year's worth of decorations in a single month. So, again, I just wanted to ask if raising the amount of furniture for the feat and lowering the cost of the actual decorations could be a possible solution? Those that want the feats only would pay the same amount, or close to, and us that want to decorate could farm and stockpile a lot easier for the year to come. The second feedback is a request for a yellow Glow Tube to be released at some point (especially for all the Sinestro Corps members out there!) Actually, I'd love an orange, red, pink, and purple variant too if you'd guys be willing. Could even be thrown in for a future Homecomiiiing? Haha! I think that's about it. Thanks again for listening to our feedback for more psudeo z-axis friendly things. Looking forward to testing these out as soon as I'm able!
Didn't even notice it. The Price hike with this seasonal is HUGE. Emotes should not be costing more than 50. They are not even iconic. Making the base items account bound is going to hurt the decorators alot. You made all items already 10 marks which is also absurd to me - at least mix them up between 10 and 5. Summer has less marks generally. I do love all the items we got here, but I think the pricing isn't though over and now turning base items into account bound like styles without even mentioning it - personally upsets me as a decorator. I hope this is a bug so until we hear back on that - I will reserve full judgement on the matter. P.S the event is not live so I am assuming it was created in the wrong section of the forums (Should be in test section)
I'm both excited and truly bummed out by this seasonal. The base items are STUNNING! I'm loving the direction you have been taking the items... but... Account bound?... we have an amazing base builder community that shares and trades base items, it's cutting off one of the social elements for us. I can live with a 10 cost even if it is a little steep... but... again... Account bound?... really?...
The items for the Summer Seasonal are Really Nice, I am having an issue with the pricing of seasonal items these are suppose to be fun but your making it a grind and a chore. Why is everything Account Bound these all use to be tradable, there are people that have several accounts they trade between them, you are now even making base items account bound?? This really needs to be changed/looked at!
hello idk if its too late but is it there any chance to change the second color slot of the braids and instead of using the eyes color just the regular color palette?
All I know is the new items are too expensive... you're essnetially going to need to use replays or buy marks if past members are returning or anyone doesnt have this stuff already.
That is usually the case every year. So players who have completed the past items can get new items by doing the seasonal for the whole run instead of just a few days. I am still catching up. But last year I spent a lot on the 2023 items that are half priced this year. And I did that on multiple toons. Could have saved them up and bought them this year.
The vertical scaffolding can't be placed in like 70-80% of the normal bases, such as the Deco Base or Gothic Base or any of those layouts. The hitbox/bounding box is too tall and won't fit in any place except the open area near the computer in the back and the open area at the bottom of the stairs in the back. Can't fit in the front by the entrance, can't put them on the stairs that lead to the back, can't put them in any alcove, can't put them on the upper floor of the base, can't put them by the computer area in the back, can't put them on the uppper part of the lower floor, once you step up those steps, can't put them in the alcoves there either. WHY do you do this with all the base items? You make the bounding boxes so big that you can't place the stuff in half the locations someone would want to put them. The Housing Fence suffers from this and I pointed that out YEARS ago when you first made them (with illustrated pictures showing the problem) and it was ignored, yet you have great walls like the darkstone? that has the bounding box relaxed near the top so it can clip into low ceilings and works just fine in a lot of places. Your artificial grass suffers from this same issue. The edges are past the grass, you can't even butt it up against the stairs in the front, or any wall with a slight pillar sticking out, making them very difficult to place against walls for a clean floor covering. STOP doing that. Really. Also the patio door needs it's box pulled in so it can sit flush against any wall that has a slight trim like the Deco Base and other bases. Your pride items also suffer from this kind of thing but in another way. Instead of rotating on an edge, like the scaffoldings do they rotate in the middle meaning that when you try to hang them near the top of a wall or off the edge of an upper floor they float in the air and don't hang properly! And this isn't the first time you've done this. It's like you people don't even go in and use these items in a base to see how they interact with the current layouts. Do you play the game at all? Do you go and design bases with your new items and old ones? Curious minds want to know, because it sure seems like you do not.
