Thoughts since Launch of GU36

Im not a fan of GU36 really...

I am waiting on WM but I'm honestly not even logging back on till it's here because currently the game feels horrible. I just ran nexus and trust me hard light is still OP. Honestly I think it got better. My sub will atleast stay till WM though.

P.s. I love how HL complained for a couple days when gu36 got on test and they fixed the problems people had yet fire, earth, electric, and ice have been complaining for years and get nothing but "WM will make you closer to the OP powers" that's BS right there

If weapon mastery is so strong why did they give us these new slow buggy animations. They introduced weapon mastery so nun clipping powers, or people who don't like to clip can keep up. But with these new animations nun weapon mastery users won't b able to keep up.

from what I understand mepps got on a teamspeak server with legion legends and some other people not quite sure why a bigger audience wasnt organised? There are more high level players keen to give direct feedback to the devs other than ones that have been on fnl

Is HL really still good? I'm assuming we're going to be scrubs now. Not sure I want to bother checking it out.

I was 99% sure just from messing with GU36 on Test Server it was going to be time to hang up my cape after 3 years and move on. After spending an hour or so with it on Live I can definitely say SOE has lost my sub forever. I'll still log in to PVP but thankfully I don't have to be subbed to do that , especially since they are planning on completely separating PVE and PVP. I'm also sitting at 179 SP which means I don't really have to worry with PVE ever again for SP.

This is true, so now every power will be doing the same combos as everybody around them and the only power that can still effectively clip is hard light. I hate this update. It should help condense the guide section though. One guide for every dps.

Imo I feel like hardlight is alot better and much more fun.

The logic is that the Style Vendor styles (for harder to get styles) will always be bought with the highest in-game marks available...which in this case is/will be Marks of Fury. Everybody will have to chill for a moment until they release DLC10 before they can stockpile the amount of marks needed to buy the old styles...but the wait won't be that long.

HL players made their voices heard because every move of theirs was slowing down. Earth and Electric are in the WiP section as we speak so if you're one of those powers get in there and interact with them. I play ice and my guy felt faster, so no complaint there but am sure some tweaks will need to be made along with some fire tweaks....

The upside? Balancing and these tweaks will now be easier because they made the animation times more consistent. This is the start of things still and they said from the get-go it would take some time.

It's not about "ignoring" QQ threads. It's moreso the fact that 99% of these people haven't even had a full 24hours with the changes yet and all of a sudden "RIP DCUO" etc. At least the people on the Test servers have been actively playing and working with the changes daily to find good info to bring to these boards. You know, that info people read so that on release day they're not all "oh em gee. They broke my power set. What do I do now." which is exactly what is transpiring now.

You say "get off your high horse" to the people saying "It's not that bad" and "It's for the better" etc as if they're on high horse when it's players like you that are riding just as high. I mean, the game changes so you threaten to quit if they don't change it back to your liking ? If I were Mepps or Spytle I'd get right on it before you cancel that Subscription /sarcasm. These changes effect everyone not just you.

Not logging back in until I have a reason. Favorite celestial combo slowed down to a turtle both the healing one and dps. Go on my quantum character and find out singularity has been completely destoryed. Ran trigon and nexus. Felt like the game had slowed down alot or I was lagging but I know I wasnt lagging because of 30mbs internet.

On top of all of that when I converted my MOR and then relogged, I lost the marks. Guess its back to FFXIV for a while until they fix the game and add the new content.

I feel dirty as well. Its okay.

So many tears over nothing. Oh DC isnt as fast anymore um ok i guess. Its 2012 all over again, Y2K and 12/12/12 as well.

Lmfao advanced players, whats everyone else chopped liver lol hilarious. It does take quite a skilled player to continuously clip over and over and suck up power down like a fish does water...In all serious I logged on ran AB dusted a troll in power out (he thought he was a dps I think) saw no major issues. 2H hammer throw looks fake and cartoony with its faster than light quickness, but the deletion of might/pre from skill tree was a bit of a surprise, don't recall reading about that one.

All this wait to destroy might power users go-figure. Looking forward to gu37
