i can't find an image of yellow Collections under water on Arkham. (i have screenshots as old as from 2012 in a folder on the backup drive. Not all folders were backed up or may have been deleted.)

Ah yes, I can stil remember all those kind and gentle screams of "Learn to heal you idiot! " and those incredibly encouraging "heal me NAO! you fa#%ot" Such sweet, loving memories of my first few days in DCUO.

I wouldn't have learned to play this game if it wasn't for those times I got kicked from Inner Sanctum raid while someone screamed at me what I moron I was without explaining what I was doing wrong.

I wouldn't have learned about my powers if I hadn't been encouraged to watch youtube videos by those kind gentlemen who harassed me by sending dozens of private messages about how much I sucked after I caused a wipe on my very first raid, it was Kandhaq I believe. Such good times.

My, oh my, how times have changed.

I was Lucky. I was "adopted" early on by a group that will remain nameless as their resident controller, even though I was in a different League. I learned the ins and out pretty quick.

I did fortunately find a group of friends about a month or 2 after i started playing and we've been playing together since. It makes a world of difference when you find like-minded, respectful players.

It's really sad that those things still go on today though, aside of the many things devs could do to improve new player retention, i think community attitude towards new players is one of the main factors driving people away. If i didn't love the DC property so much and if I hadn't met my friends (shout out to all you awesome guys and gals in game!) I likely would have quit well over 3 years ago. Instead, I have spent more money in this game than I have in any other game in the past 3.5 years.

edit: woops! i also meant to clarify that I am on USPC so I can't take you up on your offer at least occasionally, or offer the same if you ever felt like it. I do appreciate it though

jump cancelling, the choice to pick my loadout now its preset for us with AMs, getting rewarded from all content, MoW/MoK/MoD ect, support roles.

I kind of miss the walk-in portals for the solo challenges. The only one left is for the Old Gotham Subway/Penguin Solo. I know the current system is more efficient, but I like any excuse to venture out into the open world

How about the old exploits? Pot stacking in Kahndaq, luring Doomsday under the stairs, the door exploit in Inner, the gate exploit in Gates. On the other hand, remember having to coordinate entering the final area in Kahndaq? If one person went in too quickly, everyone else was locked out.

you had me until you said clipping...I do not care what others say if your toon is supposed to be animated to deal damage but a player short circuits that animation yet keeps the damage that is not right
