Whats the point of calling something elite and even charging for them if your going to nref it by listening to one or two crybabies whining because they're getting owned in the scoreboard. This is what started killing dcuo the constant nerfing that was barely even a problem. Stop listening to noobs because they're what killed dcuo stop nerfing things because you're killing whats left of dc. I hear teammates second guessing if they should even buy anything if they're going to nerf it to the ground. Boy these devs are poor at balancing the henchmen they''re literally water boys by far the worst of all the henchmen might as well call them water boys and take off the word elite. These items are called elite for a reason stop listening to the community and balance things the way you feel is right. You people cannot afford to mess up this game is on its last legs.

DPS ego issue honestly. Tears. i love it

Edit: If you actually kept up to date with the game, you would understand that the elite henchmen we have now are HEALER henchmen. They are healers henchmen to help provide healing.

The lantern ones are DPS based henchmen which are the ones to do the damage.

Did I miss something? I don’t see anything about this change. Or did they announce yet another change on a different platform and completely ignore the forums yet again?

He is probably upset that he forgot about pet scaling with CR and since they are 30+ CR below elite (if hes 475) is doing less to the enemies.

That being said, if you meant my comment, during the stream lately, they said these henchment we have now, the water ones, are healer specific. Now the OA Lantern ones are DPS ones

I’m aware the current elite henchmen that drop healing orbs are the “healer” henchmen. However they did more direct damage than any other henchmen we had in the game up until they were released. The OP stated that these henchmen were nerfed. If I take his comment at face value it would mean the devs nerfed these allies without any notice. So I’m just curious is the devs nerfed these allies or if the OP is just testing poorly.

They've been ninja-nerfed in the last update. They're now doing around 20% of the damage they were doing before, so they're more-less in line with the older henchmen.

Did they lock armor to stop all this stupid has hand swapping???

    I see.

Personally I don’t think it’s to bad they got nerfed. Especially if the whole point is to have these be the “healing” henchmen”. The issue I find is that I can’t help but see this as them wanting to push for more sales by making the new ally perform better. It’s not like they just came out and the devs saw them doing more damage then intended so they nerfed it. It’s been well known that we’re the best henchmen ever since they came out. And players had spent either money or extra marks to get multiple copies for alts specifically because the devs also decided to make these allies be excluded from getting extra from the base vendor.

But now that a new pair of elite henchmen are coming out they nerf these? I can’t help but see this is a greed move more than a balance move.

Yup they got me good. I grinder those henchmen out on 37 characters but now my effort is gone to waste. Gonna be putting my lezcorp and water golems back in. Op is right though d3stroying the effort your player base puts in is what killed this games population.

Don’t think the OPs reasoning is correct. I doubt they care about what people find weak or OP as long as it helps drive sales. Best current henchmen nerfed around the time a new henchmen is released just screams “hey buy this since we nerfed the other ones”

thank you dev... i complain about it during the spring event, these elite henchmen is too OP. now their power level is more inline with how henchmen should be. they are still strong when compare to the rest of the henchmen, but not so OP it completely overshadow everyone like before.

these elite henchmen are a joke before the nerf. especially people who downplay how OP these henchmen are or shift he focus on something else. sorry to rain on your easy power parade.

now the question is, do they repeat the same mistake with these new lantern elite henchmen.

Haven’t seen anything about the n word. But new content means a bigger cr differential and that means we, along with pets, do less damage. I thought it was common sense, but I’m thinking this makes you a cry baby as you are only one upset about this. Hope this helps!

This is what I was dreading. If it's true that it got nerfed. This devalues future rewards and incentive. Yes, we've had this in the past, Yes, we all accept that what we are presented in the game or any game is subject to change. But you keep changing the value of these rewards. Why not be bold and just put out there that the maximum effectiveness of all these great rewards is time limited?

I'm sorry, I just literally posted on another thread that making the reward matter and match the grind is important as an incentive. But going back after the fact and devaluing that reward is just not right. For me that's a game killer.

I'm hoping it's not right, I am hoping it is not a trend. Putting out an item, not caring how strong it is or broken, whether intended or not just because they can always just diminish it later on.
You cannot mess around with game integrity and this is what's at stake right now.

Yes, they were adjusted down with the force of an imploding sun. They now do less than the lair system ones. (Anyone buyout the lanterns to know if they are running higher?)

I hope this is a bug, because they are not really a reason to use them, unless you are wanting the heal elements. In most content, that heal isn't necessary outside of very difficult solo.

This makes 0 sense considering people tested these pets on sparring targets like someone mentioned they doing around 10-20% of the damage they used to do. And considering the new henchmen do what the spring ones used to do its blatant what they did. Not to mention they didnt say anything about this in forums

And it's noticable from FD and DoR? Their damage is more less the same compared to the nerf?
    And in HvA?

FWIW - Check your numbers again as it looks like they were fixed. IE, this was a bug not a nerf.

I assume that instead of reducing damage by 10%, there was a reduction to 10% of the original damage.

So Henchmen almost returned to the previous damage (in my opinion, the damage is a little lower, but maybe it's just random playing tricks on me...)

however, judging by some videos from youtube, some have already managed to buy progress in the event in order to get new henchmen....
