The Wolverine (starting guide for new players) ;)

Here are some videos that I made that hopefully could be useful; to new players.

These videos could serve both as a tutorial for new players.....
or as a way to see what the character progression looks like since GU47.

I will try to give tips.... but I will not try to teach players how to MIN/MAX their characters.

I created a Wolverine character so that we could start fresh with a brand new character.

So we start in the Brainiac ship....


Then playing the Scartecrow mission ending with a Batwoman Wolverine team-up.


Then we fought Brainiac robots.... lots of them.


Then we fought the EVIL forces of Bane..... and teamed-up with Nightwing.


And last we explored the Watchtower and did set up our Lair.


The next video I will probably explore the Watchtower a bit more and explain how the crafting system works.

More soon.

so basically what you are doing is a heroe diary, you know instead of making so much posts you can edit the main and then add more videos in there. I don't like the fact you are doing this "tutorial" as a marvel player, but then who am I to told you what to do and what not to so.... After all this is kinda good guide, but it would be better if you just add the firste video and then a reading guide, and then if people don't understand what you're saying, you can help them by saying: -Watch my videos in youtube-

I was under the impression that we had only 15 minutes or something like that to edit our posts??
Did not realise we could still edit our posts days later??

One HUGE post with lots of videos??? or lots of posts with one video each??
What does it matter??

Keeping it one post each..... it will make it easier to look for a specific post??? or am I missing something???

So if someone looks for R&D..... they will get the R&D post.
As oppose to getting a HUGE post..... and then look for the R&D video in that ONE HUGE post???

Since you are not the only one who made a comment about that...... I will do videos with a DC character a bit later.

Or should I create a new DC character??

And should that DC character have his own thread??? or should I just add a post to this one thread??

Yes I saw you message.

Lots of good suggestions.

But some I won't really be able to do.

Yes it is a good suggestion to have maybe a text explaining what goes on in the video..... but I often am short on time.... so I doubt that I could do it.

Will try to have less posts by having multiple video in one post.

We shall see how that goes.

This whole thing is a work in progress.

Will keep on working on it.

I haven't watched the videos but how about explaining feats and how they affect skill points

Almost as bad as the EVIL Sentinels.


A bit of info on the Mainframe.... and the conclusion of the OMAC quest chain.
And a Green Lantern Green Arrow Wolverine team-up.


Reaching level 30.
And a Batman Wolverine team-up.

Thought I would do just a couple of missions...... but then I got carried away.

Also....

There is an example of running the Gotham University mission at 1:18:00.
We were CR 36 and 37.
It was tough and we did die..... but we did not wipe. Only one of us would die while the other would finish the fight.

And Also once more .......

We can see the Wolverine reach T2.
To keep it simple......
It took 5 Solo missions
And 2 Duo missions
for the Wolverine to reach T2.

So those who blame the players for levelling too quickly....... you might want to watch this video.

I fought a lot of Gorillas.


Here we explore the Watchtower and created out Lair.


Here we did some Arena fights.... just enough to buy as awesome chest piece.

As you can see.... it is pretty easy to progress just with the gear drops.

And you do not earn enough MoV to keep up and purchase the gear at level.
