The selfishness of some players is staggering

Isn't it also selfish to try and kick someone who's not doing what u want?
I'll say that they could've beat the instance for you...but u also could've walked out and cooled off for 60 secs

Nature of Online games. I used to make the mistake of judging the game instead of the players by this type of behavior. Never again.

I was doing the Intergang operation with a group and at the end where you fight Bruno and Chang I was kicked. I ran into the players that kicked me the next day and when I asked them why was I kicked for no reason they simply replied " We didn't need two healers " lol.

No I mean kicked from the map because it was over. Like the map was completed. It will not allow me to farm for me then 2 minutes.

Some t6 players think they are better than everyone, they won't help other players. I would have help and gather them at the end. Sad to see that, so selfish yes.

Even the 5 minutes I was premium I had more than 2 minutes. That's really odd.

Wouldn't it be nice if it was just in this game that it happened? Welcome to the new age.

As was previously noted, you will be booted from Operations, like Intergang Crime Wave, after completion but you can farm Alerts, like Oolong Island, as long as you want after it's over.

the 2 min timer only applies to opperations. u can stay after a raid/alert all day if u dont leave or disconnect.

I agree, the selfishness of DCUO players truly is staggering.

THATS with KILLEHMALL.. my new toon I got to lvl 30. I never even paid attention to the 4 mans. My TRESKAR toon runs operations and now I know. My first toon is mission oriented my new toon is to try and find new ways to gain CR without missioning that often. trying to build a solo toon.

Player's who are cr110 don't mean **** to be honest. Some just fast pace to the game. I've just become cr 72 and have been keeping up with my skillpoints 66 and counting.

I'ma troll I supply a good amount of power and pick up down team mates. If I'm there for briefings or investigations or collections I beat the instance and then go off searching. My point is I'll help the team til the raid is beat. I've seen rage players go down faster than I can pick em up.

Also had players go off and do breifings and collections then stood far away looking at the rest of us fight. I didn't kick em out I let them stay.

Cause I know if they're here with us in tier 1 expert raid and just standing their enjoying the others struggle than its because they can't do high end raids without rage quitting or getting themselves kicked for being inept and down right loser's.

Everybody plays the way they want I have no right to deprive them from playing. They can be selfish, helpful, loners etc. I just wanna play and help others cause to me it's fun helping others in raids

They do it because they can get away with it. For some reason people feel that a high cr entitles them to highjack instances. It makes you wonder how many potential paying customers gave up on the game because of this type of behavior.

At CR60 you could practically solo the thing.

I pug often. And this is 99% of all my missions. There is almost always 1 or 2 players that run off and will try to solo everything to make the group feel usless. It's like they are racing to see if they can get to and kill the boss first so they get their fix on being 'oh, so beast.' Sometimes they do it for collections, farming a certain loot or for some feat. AMong excuses I have seen is they don't want to waste any more time than they have to, so skip adds or 'learn how to play, noob.'

The suckie side of this is there will never be any come-uppens for these trash players. In real life, face to face.... Would be nice to break their fingers so they don't play anymore. If there were more moderation in the game, would love to see players like this reported and banned for abuse. But it will never happen because these trash players also pay for the game.

Taking names and swearing you will never run with them again won't work. You may never see that particular toon again, and even if you do, they won't care. These kinds of players are sociopaths. They have no empathy. Nothing you do will affect them. In fact, if you let them know it pissed you off, they may even get satisfaction from it. In real life, away from the pc, these people probably have to hide who they really are to even have friends. They are indeed scum off the bottom of a cow-pie.
