What are you looking for in a league and why? I just left my former League, which is sadly now defunct. I'm looking for a League that is both frequently active, but at the same time doesn't take things too seriously as I have other commitments that will take precedence. I'm humble, very keen to learn from those with more experience than I have (just about everyone, really) and would love to be a contributing member of a friendly community who is in it to enjoy the experience. In particular, I'm looking for a mentor guiding me through bringing my SP up to a reasonable level, as I'm sorely lacking this for high level content.

About yourself: Life-long MMORPG player; life-long comic book fan; consciously & subconsciously avoids conflict or drama, plays video games for escapism and fun only. Just turned age 40, am a 9-to-5 "professional", my dogs dictate every aspect of my life (as is intended and preferred).

What are you looking for in a league and why? Ultimately, I'm just looking for a home of mature players who enjoy the game, comic books, and general nerdiness. My only hard requirement is to find a group of players that are welcoming, friendly, and easy to let my guard down and be myself around. I just want to relax and have fun in the game and have no interest in elitism or ego competitions.

I have some "preferences" (below), but recognize I may not find everything I want. That said, I am hoping to find a group that will allow me to take short breaks from the game, and return without losing membership. I do sometimes take time away to play something else, but always come back to DCUO and have since launch. While I completely understand why a League would kick inactive players to make space for fresh blood, and know this can be a lot to ask for, but my hope is to find a familiar home that I can always come back to, without having to look for a new League that is right for me... again.

Preferences (but not requirements):

• Mature & adult only league (Oh, this is definitely required)
• Active members. It doesn't have to be a huge amount of people, just enough to make some friends.
• Group content & Raiding opportunities
• Voice chat optional, except for when required for Group content (sometimes I'm just too exhausted & over-stimulated to speak out-loud)
• No silly, or "inappropriate" league names (This obviously subjective, so just being a tiny bit picky here)
• Prefer unique League names, not a play on established comic book Teams (XX_TeenTitans_XX). (also being picky)
• No Icon character leagues, please. I like to feel like we're a unique Team of unique heroes in the DC Universe (despite the multi-verse)
