You want to buy everyone a PC, smarty pants?

Every time I see a group of them I keep thinking....

So an opinion is only valid if you have tested stuff? That is a bad way to run a business, and a poor attitude to have as a community. According to the comment, only loyal elite players have any say or cred. Pretty sad.

I don't have time to spend 9 months on providing feedback and testing stuff, I don't get paid to test anything for this game and don't pay them so I can test things out. I pay so i can login when I want and have a fun experience with my son, if I have paid, and I have a complaint, I will make it known.

You should be willing to listen or at minimum respect every person's gripe, because attitudes like this will just drive people away. i get there are a lot of complaints right now, but that doesnt mean they are not valid, regardless if you help test, know how to run raids, know how to spec powers, anything.

Doesn't take a pc to log on to the forums, read the testing notes and contribute feedback about how things should work or render an opinion on the patch note changes. Excuses are the refuge of the lazy and the incompetent.

I´m a paying costumer and I LOVE THE REVAMP as many other players have stated in the past days since launch.

But based on your original comment, anyone who just logged in after the update and didnt help for the past 9 months don't have any cred. You also made it sound like they dont care because they didnt help. Why do you think they are voicing an opinion, they do care, they do want to see the game improve. Kicking around less frequent players opinions like trash, and trying to invalidate them does nothing to improve the draw of DCUO.

I started a post based on some concerns I had and got some decent feedback. I have tons of respect for the elite players who figure things out faster than I can, post it here, and allow me to adjust my experience to be more enjoyable. But replies such as this remind me why my league, friends, and family dont like to play.

I never said I hated it. But I do have concerns. I dont play for hours on end and need time to adjust, but when you get kicked down for voicing a concern, it doesn't make the experience very fun.

To those who tested and are now "Lording" it over those who didn't have the ability ( a PC) to be on the Test Server,

get off your pedestal/high horse/soapbox because you have the knowledge of 9 months doing test others don't have,

get over yourselves, you're not that "high n mighty" nor are you "LEET" when you treat other players as being beneath you.

Just because a person was on test doesn't give them the right to,

make fun of
ridicule
cyber-bully
publicly shame
call names
grieve
or use personal attacks of any kind.

This is a Troll Thread because the intent is to do what I just listed and the OP even admitted it in this post,

This community drives more people away from the game than anything the Devs/Bosses do.

That's right. If a player could find the time to log on and complain but couldn't be bothered for the multiple months leading up to launch to voice an opinion when it would have helped more, then no, they don't get the same cred. Life's like that. When players sit back and expect everyone else to get it done, things tend to turn out differently than what you expected.

I get what you are saying, and to be honest that post when you said that you play with your kid struck a chord on me, cause i´m a father aswell and i can see where are you coming from.

However, i´ve seen a lot of people just ranting without even trying to ask for advice or some direction to adapt to the new update, that´s what i don´t understand or agree with. Like i said before, if you have any particular doubt or question feel free to ask.

No offense to anyone here but a lot of players probably do have pc's to test with like myself, but refuses to test because maybe like myself didn't want this revamp. But, just because we didn't want to contribute doesn't mean we don't have the right to not like the changes. Maybe just maybe if those that are complaining would've had pc's to test with, this revamp might of not happened. The community wanted the AM/CR removed so badly anything was good enough.. A lot of people have said this but, the community are the ones chasing away the players...

Valid concern. I dont want o see people hate just to hate.

The thing is they did voice an opinion, with their wallet. People will pay to play a game they enjoy. They will put time and effort into a game they enjoy. Of course people who put in the time and hours to help with the game deserve credit, but that doesn't mean that a returning player should be ignored. Doesn't mean they get no credit for trying out the new change and being upset, confused, or frustrated by it. DCUO can't afford not to listen to every single opinion, whine, complaint, etc. They need $$ to stay afloat. The DCUO community should welcome returning players who didn't help shape everything, and guide them on how to make things more fun. otherwise, DCUO will continue to die a slow death, and the elite players who were wishing they would have been a little bit more understanding to the casual players, will be whining about the servers being shut down because nobody is playing the game any longer.

Come talk to me in 6 months and let's see if it's still dying a slow death like silly nubs have been predicting for the last 6 years.

I don't need to come back in 6 months. Ask yourself now, are the subs or paying customers, as high as they were 1 year ago, 2 years ago, 3 , 4, 5, 6 years ago?

I know I don't see as many players as I used to. DCUO was smart to push the stat change, as well as the new water power. It will bring people back. If they stay long term is up to DCUO and fine people like yourself, being welcoming and respectful of concerns.

A little effort might make you get a sense of accomplishment and that's nice I suppose but it has gotten WAY outta hand

Havent read much of this thread, but this here is nonsense. Anyone who posted any feedback based on test notes were met with varying forms of "you havent even tested it. gfto"
