    I repec to use brawling into the ma 2 wm.
    For alerts I use the tap triangle hold triangle as its fast, but in raids when im main troll doing pot I can do the hold triangle 2 times move to pop stick bomb, status field, stick-sticky, status to save power and do damage while keeping pot up.

    Thinking of getting ride of turret for self destruct since decoy and its sd is more helpful.

    I mean you can save im becoming a battle troll. Only need 2 more points to finish the vit in dw and then the last thing I need is hb and that's all the t2 vit for me.

    Wont lie I miss being light cause now with wm hand clap, ram, and light blast seems amazing light blast was hitting the same as stick bomb was before wm so kind of jealous but I still love me gadgets.

    I only need 92 shoulders, hands, feet, back, mask, neck, ut now my controller stats

    4541 power using the power pool mod.

    I can see the control effect from the Decoy being destroyed as useful. I think the damage from the turret might be better overall compared to the damage you would get from the Self Destruct ticks. You should try it out but remember the gray numbers are registering too.

    I think I only have 4 T6 pieces right now. my precision is over 1000 and my pot tick is 262. That's 2750 vit.

    I understand the term "battle troll" registers with players. It's cool and all. "Battle ____" was made popular around the time Celes and Rage came out. Which to me makes sense based on how those powersets are designed to work. But I don't ever use that term because it's always been Controller and Battery to me. A controller does everything the role is intended to do including damage. A Battery just focuses on strict power out. You know, the stuff you see from some leagues in old PC videos. It always bothered me, as a Controller, to see fellow Controllers (actually Batteries) consistently out damaged by healers in those videos & in game raids and think that's ok. Really is a shame considering all the tools that are there.

    Anyway, you can definitely use Reserve Tank to have access to more power. By the way, if someone ever tells you it's broken... it's not. Just note that its strength is that it just starts you off with more power, and allows you to have room to accept more power from a soder, supply drop, weapon regen, and/or a power heal supercharge.

    Carrying Core Strength (chest mod) will assist you in dealing higher damage if that's your goal.

    Relentless Precision (neck mod) is what I just started using tonight. It gives you about 170 precision for 6 seconds after you've reached 9 on the combo meter. There have been plenty of moments where I was able to go beyond 9 hits. Which was rare before WM. So I'm trying it out. Especially with the reduced power in.

    yeah I keep the crit power heal mod just in case you never know when you have to solo troll which seems to be a lot or if the other troll you have goes down. If anything if I could get ride of it I would go might mod cause of sticky bomb and status field.

    Yeah I notice in my stats my power goes up with the power pool mod all it does it add the 800+ power to your stats.
    Not sure why people say its broken when I took the mod off one time I lost the power and was like where did my stat in power go.
    Now im not sure with brawling to ma mastery that does build back power faster so maybe I don't need power pool mod anymore what do you think.


    I figure with a second troll he could use extended sc mod as frankly all I have is word of power cause our sc for power stinks right now.
    I may carry battle drone just not sure. Its always that what if you have to solo troll or what if the other troll dies things.

    I think im going to get ride of turret and carry distract. In a&b metropolis I find im usually the one getting the canisters and with decoy and distract I can get them with greater ease. Plus I need something like distract to revive people.

    Your right people expect trolls to be just batteries but they also want us to do so much more. Give shield super charge, revive the dead idiots, debuff certain enemies.

    Frankly I wish the game would go back to 2.2.3.1 again.

    As for core strength really the damage is only what I don't lose 10% so its only an extra 7 damage per hit. I mean if the mod gave me the damage boost that dps gets it would be better.

    Maybe they think being able to stack both cfield and cfoam at range is op? At melee when you stack both with stasis field and burning the dps is incredible. I have yet to lose to anyone in damage out when going melee with this loadout.

    tried the core strength mod status field damage first hit went up by maybe 50-60 damage the dots where only an extra 10 damage.
    In the long run its not going to help me do the damage I need. I mean if one was to add the might neck mod throw sticky and sf then maybe it would be.

    But I think the power pool will help me out in the long run just in case im solo trolling or the other troller dies.
    I reset everything got me both word of power and battle drone.
    I didn't get napalm grenade but got cyro-foam for the heal debuff. Got gg for times when people don't want me putting things in balls like in t6 alert. I still have sf though.

    Its just working with what you got. Using distract over decoy but in a&b im going to add decoy and distract for the city part.

    Thinking I need a 4th armory for different troll situations

    Are you using a WM combo before you cast your power. That Crit buff will help with the initial burst of might damage. Core Strength will help overall and you can use relentless precision or escalating might even in troller stance. Troll stance is the only role I can picture someone actually getting to 9 hits. Escalating might will of course increase your might when your casting powers back to back. So say you cast PoT>Foam to set up PI for GG. WM combo GG>Defib. Your PI is up for GG and you have the bonus going for might damage(if using escalating might) and you have the crit bonus for GG too. That should help.

    The other option is to try and get damage out of your weapon attacks. Relentless Precision is good to aid in that. Static Grenades are good far range consumable's. Or you can use any type of PI set up consumable(Cryogenic Solution-frostbite, Electro Static- electric, Dazing Device etc).

    Keeping groups powered is pretty easy now. I'm not sure how your speccing your SP but getting the crit attack chance/mag will do more than getting the might or precision. You can also get the power point crit attack chance/mag as well for added damage.

    INT is another ability that can sometimes get overlooked by controllers for damage. You can clip the animation with defib. Speeding that up some and getting the full 7 ticks of damage. If it gives 7 ticks 150 damage that's over a 1000 damage and done completely passively while you attack and feed power to your team or CC.

    Since you using multiple troller armories there may times when you don't really need a shield. You can have one set up that doesn't include that. I have one armory for the trash add rooms where I carry SB/Def/Foam/GG/INT/BD I sometimes sub foam out for other stuff or mix and match. Then on bosses I switch to SB/Def/SF/INT/DIS/BD. I carry cryo-genic solutions on the 1st armory and static grenades on the 2nd.

    I'd like to add on the escalating replenishing procs neck mod.... It's not necessary. Depending on how you allocate your SP it won't matter if you have it or not. Changing the 1 % power heal chance to be added passively to dom, vit, and power increased our total crit power chance. You shouldn't ever need it. Really that's the case with all the mods. If you use gear mods, HT mods, their just extra's. They'll help but aren't really required. Though gear mods are more necessary to level now. Basically with trinkets, supply drops, double ticking powering groups is super easy. Our vit levels are way over what's needed right now, you should have time to do some damage depending on what types of groups your running.

    yeah I don't use foam on my loadout to make it worth it I had it and gg but the stupid game keep glitch I had 6 points in both tree sometimes it would give me the 35 power from the one tree and other times it wouldn't and when I log out when it gave me the 35 power it would take it away.

    Frankly I use status field and sticky bomb for the damage.
    I got battle drone again for when I run two troll runs. I put decoy and distract in my loadout for parts like a&b add debif in there just in case the other troll dies and I have nothing free in my loadout.

    I do have napalm grenade I can try but again the damage is only high for the first hits and the dots are only 10 more damage.
    Even with the might mod still not enough to make me change what I got that.

    I always have my loadout and mods set for solo trolling just in case as I said I have to solo or the other troll dies.

    I can still do damage with wm to status field

    Hey, guys/gals...I was wondering if anyone has been using the suppressor turret lately in t5/6 instances. If you have been, is the turret staying up long enough to be worth a spot on your loadout?

    Also, besides decoy, what 4+ stuns does gadgets have now?

    Zeno gadgets stuns are gauss grenade, sticky bomb, decoy, nn.

    I have been using Turret a lot recently and it almost never dies. A few times it commited suicide on WW's deflect in TD, but that's nothing another player wouldn't do either ;)

    My turret rarely dies in t6 content. It dies in t5 content but that rate is very low as well.

    Sticky Bomb (after bomb explodes) stuns 8 targets that are close to your target. Those 2 are basically it. Fear Gas panics 8 targets but does not stun.

    It's not like the other controller powersets that are easy mass group controlling. With Gadgets and controlling multiple groups of NPCs you have to play smart with your tools. Know how many they can control and what kind of control effect appears. apply one power to one side of a group and another/same power to the other end of the group.

    Has anyone else had a problem with Decoy not taunting the cyclops boss in the T6 duo? It's been fine in the rest of the duo and in the other duo as well, but multiple times I noticed it wasn't taunting that cyclops.

    A random partner noticed the same issue with his decoy and I was curious if anyone else was having the problem.

    I definitely noticed that too. I always use decoy during a boss fight and it never works with the cyclops boss in the T6 duo, I have to depend on distract more so for that fight. However, I am happy to say that decoy does work with the cyclops boss in the T6 alert. Go figure.

    I'm happy to hear that the turret has good survivability. The issue with CC'ing is, I'm sure, not a major concern to most gadgets controllers. GG seems to have a pretty fast action mechanic and can probably be used in place of a large group stun; as long as you switch targets. I wonder if that will lead to power use issues. I suppose decoy, coupled with GG, is just as good as anything else.

    Well, the reason I brought this up, was that I'm gonna start a new char, and I was having a hard time deciding between gadgets and quantum.

    Is the damage out, of gadgets, better than quantum's? If so, by what margin?

    Had the same problem on villain side, can't taunt the statue ever, it just ignores the decoy.

    I noticed it a while back but just ignored it. Have you guys tried using a tank in there to taunt the Cyclops and see if it focused on the tank or just ignored him too?

    If it ignored him then either the Cyclops is bugged or that's just how they made him to act.
    Maybe the Cyclops attacks the farthest player?
