    Appendix: Iconic Abilities
    Iconic abilities are available to all players and can be specced into under the "Iconic Powers" menu by using Skill Points. For Gadgets players, Iconic abilities offer new opportunities for setting/leveraging power interactions and expanding gameplay options.

    The following is a list in alphabetical order of Iconic abilities. For each ability, basic information and notes are provided. Please refer to the "Explanation of Terms" section for an overview of terminology used below.

    [IMG]Amazonian Deflection
    "Deflect incoming attacks, protecting yourself from damage. Some damage will be directed back at your attackers with a chance to stun them."

    Cast Information
    Puts the player in block and sets up a shield for 6 seconds. Incoming damage is reflected.
    Base Damage
    68-76 (71 average) to reflected attacks

    Control Effect
    Random chance of stunning an attacker for 3 seconds.
    Notes
    • The Shielding effect lasts for 6 seconds, until the shield damage cap is reached, or if the player exits block.
    • Players can exit block by jump canceling Amazonian Deflection.
    • It is possible to be countered while using Amazonian Deflection. Being countered will remove the shield.
    • Amazonian Deflection is best used as a strategic shield. With Amazonian Deflection's very high Base Shield Modifier, a player can easily survive most one-hit kill attacks if this ability is used at the correct time.

    [IMG] Batarang Multi-Shot
    "Unleash a volley of Batarangs at your enemies, stunning, and damaging them. After a short delay, the Batarangs detonate, damaging, and knocking down affected targets."

    Large cone attack centered in front of the caster. 15 meter range.
    Base Damage
    Two ticks of 22-24 (46 cumulative average) over 2 seconds
    Base Power Cost
    200
    Cooldown
    6 seconds
    Control Effect
    Briefly stuns and performs a knockdown on up to 8 enemies.
    Power Interactions
    Dazes up to 8 targets.

    "Blast your enemies with freezing breath, damaging, snaring, and eventually freezing them."

    [Vulnerable to Interrupt]
    Cast Information
    Ranged group channeled ability. 30 meter cast range.
    Base Damage
    Four ticks of 45-49 (190 cumulative average) over 3 seconds.
    Base Power Cost
    150 per second
    Cooldown
    6 seconds
    Control Effect
    Can stun 8 targets for up to 3 seconds. The stun is inflicted on the last damage tick.
    Power Interactions
    Inflicts Frostbite on up to 8 targets.
    Notes
    • Freezing Breath can be jump canceled.
    • Animation can be canceled with tap melee or tap range attacks.
    • The player can switch targets while Freezing Breath is being used.
    • Compatible with the Empowered Channeling tactical mod.

    "Blast your enemy with ocular heat beams, dealing damage over time."

    Ranged single-target channeled ability. 30 meter cast range
    Base Damage
    Five ticks of 27-30 (142 cumulative average) over 2 seconds. Twelve ticks of 1-3 (24 cumulative average) over 12 seconds.
    Base Power Cost
    150 per second
    Cooldown
    4 seconds
    Power Interactions
    Inflicts Burning on the target.
    Notes
    • Heat Vision can be jump canceled.
    • The player can switch targets while Heat Vision is being used. This attribute allows the player to inflict the damage over time component on multiple enemies.
    • Heat Vision uses ray targeting. This means it will damage the first enemy between the player and target. Clear line of sight is recommended.
    • Compatible with the Empowered Channeling tactical mod.

    [IMG] Mesmerizing Lasso
    "Lasso an enemy and pull them toward you, grounding, stunning, and causing damage over time."

    Cast Information
    Single-target ranged attack. 30 meter range.
    Base Damage
    One tick of 25-28 (26 average). Three ticks of 8-9 (25 cumulative average) over 3 seconds.

    200
    Cooldown
    1.5 seconds
    Control Effect
    Pulls one target to caster and applies a stun for up to 3 seconds. Applies a grounding effect to the target.
    Power Interactions
    Notes
    • The pull distance for Mesmerizing Lasso can be doubled by jumping and using the ability at the peak of the caster's jump. This will cause the target to land behind the caster.
    • Mesmerizing Lasso uses ray targeting. The damage and control effect will be applied to the first enemy hit in between the player and target.
    • Mesmerizing Lasso can be used as a single-target priority taunt in Tank role.
    • Compatible with the Dilustel Refractor Artifact.

    "Temporarily increase your strength, defense, and damage output from an experimental derivative of Venom."

    Self-buff supercharge. Boosts Weaponization Skill by 10, base Defense by 90%, and all Damage output by 40% for 15 seconds.

    • The +10 Weaponization Skill allows players to pick up heavy objects such as cars. Players can permanently unlock this ability by speccing into the Super-Strength ability.

    "Deploy a hovering security drone to assist in battle."

    Damage-dealing pet. Reduces Passive Power Regeneration.

    Notes
    • Holding the Robot Sidekick ability button for three seconds will banish the pet.
    • Robot Sidekick will not attack an enemy unless the caster attacks first.
    • The attacks Robot Sidekick uses varies with the engagement range. At long range, Robot Sidekick will use basic projectiles and a rocket attack. At close range, Robot Sidekick will use melee attacks. The melee attacks do more damage than the range attacks.
    • Robot Sidekick has a Power bar. When it has sufficient Power, Robot Sidekick will setup a self-shield at specific intervals. Robot Sidekick's Power pool can only be replenished by dropping combat or summoning a new pet.
    • It is not recommended to use Robot Sidekick with a Play from the Tray build. The reduction in Passive Power Regeneration is significant.
    • Robot Sidekick and Suppressor Turret cannot be deployed at the same time.
    • It is important to be mindful of form changes when using Robot Sidekick. If the player summmons Robot Sidekick and uses Stealth, Robot Sidekick will immediately detonate if Robot Sidekick is not on the Stealth loadout bar. The same applies when casting Robot Sidekick from Stealth and Returning to Normal.

    [IMG] Sonic Cry
    "Unleash a sound blast against nearby enemies, damaging and stunning them."

    Cast Information
    360 degree point-blank area of effect with 7 meter radius.

    53-58 (55 average)

    Control Effect
    Stuns up to 8 targets for up to 3 seconds.
    Power Interactions
    Dazes up to 8 targets.

    Large cone attack centered in front of the caster. 15 meter range.

    Four ticks of 46-51 (194 cumulative average) over 3 seconds.
    Four ticks of 51-56 (214 cumulative average) on Dazed enemies over 3 seconds.

    150 per second
    Cooldown
    6 seconds
    Control Effect
    Stuns up to 8 targets for up to 3 seconds.
    Power Interactions
    Enemies take additional damage when Dazed.
    Notes
    • Sonic Shout can be jump canceled.
    • Compatible with the Empowered Channeling tactical mod.

    "Gain immense strength, allowing you to lift large objects such as vehicles. Toss those objects at your enemies or smash them! Smashing enemies with objects will deal increased damage and knock them down."

    Innate ability. Boosts Weaponization Skill by 10 and adds 10% to base Weaponization Rating.
    Control Effect
    Weaponized smashes will knockdown targets.

    • The +10 Weaponization Skill allows players to pick up heavy objects such as cars.

    Very well put together. But did you intend to reference feargas in the cryofoam notes and cryofoam in feargas notes?

    That was the only thing that struck me as odd while reading it. Quick question on the stealth proc, other than Surprise Attack what other abilities can proc it? And again a wonderful guide that will help many players, makes me wish every powerset had someone dedicated to it.

    The Stealth Proc is a bit weird. It works best with Surprise Attack.

    EMP Pulse, Cryo-Foam, and Fear Gas usually work.

    Cryo-Field sometimes will trigger the proc when it pulls you out of Stealth.

    Taser Pull, Sticky Bomb, Gauss Grenade, and Paralyzing Dart don't seem to work very well.
