Appendix: Iconic Abilities Iconic abilities are available to all players and can be specced into under the "Iconic Powers" menu by using Skill Points. For Gadgets players, Iconic abilities offer new opportunities for setting/leveraging power interactions and expanding gameplay options. The following is a list in alphabetical order of Iconic abilities. For each ability, basic information and notes are provided. Please refer to the "Explanation of Terms" section for an overview of terminology used below. Amazonian Deflection "Deflect incoming attacks, protecting yourself from damage. Some damage will be directed back at your attackers with a chance to stun them." [Block] [Shield] Cast Information Puts the player in block and sets up a shield for 6 seconds. Batarang Multi-Shot "Unleash a volley of Batarangs at your enemies, stunning, and damaging them. After a short delay, the Batarangs detonate, damaging, and knocking down affected targets." Mesmerizing Lasso "Lasso an enemy and pull them toward you, grounding, stunning, and causing damage over time." Applies a grounding effect to the target.Power Interactions Notes The pull distance for Mesmerizing Lasso can be doubled by jumping and using the ability at the peak of the caster's jump. This will cause the target to land behind the caster. Mesmerizing Lasso uses ray targeting. The damage and control effect will be applied to the first enemy hit in between the player and target. Mesmerizing Lasso can be used as a single-target priority taunt in Tank role. Compatible with the Dilustel Refractor Artifact. Mesmerizing Lasso Neo-Venom Boost "Temporarily increase your strength, defense, and damage output from an experimental derivative of Venom." [Supercharge] [Beneficial] Cast Information Self-buff supercharge. Boosts Weaponization Skill by 10, base Defense by 90%, and all Damage output by 40% for 15 seconds.Supercharge Cost 5000 SCCooldown 45 secondsNotes The +10 Weaponization Skill allows players to pick up heavy objects such as cars. Players can permanently unlock this ability by speccing into the Super-Strength ability. Neo-Venom Boost Robot Sidekick "Deploy a hovering security drone to assist in battle." Reduces Passive Power Regeneration.Base Power Cost 300Cooldown 6 secondsNotes Holding the Robot Sidekick ability button for three seconds will banish the pet. Robot Sidekick will not attack an enemy unless the caster attacks first. The attacks Robot Sidekick uses varies with the engagement range. At long range, Robot Sidekick will use basic projectiles and a rocket attack. At close range, Robot Sidekick will use melee attacks. The melee attacks do more damage than the range attacks. Robot Sidekick has a Power bar. When it has sufficient Power, Robot Sidekick will setup a self-shield at specific intervals. Robot Sidekick's Power pool can only be replenished by dropping combat or summoning a new pet. It is not recommended to use Robot Sidekick with a Play from the Tray build. The reduction in Passive Power Regeneration is significant. Robot Sidekick and Suppressor Turret cannot be deployed at the same time. It is important to be mindful of form changes when using Robot Sidekick. If the player summmons Robot Sidekick and uses Stealth, Robot Sidekick will immediately detonate if Robot Sidekick is not on the Stealth loadout bar. The same applies when casting Robot Sidekick from Stealth and Returning to Normal. Robot Sidekick Sonic Cry "Unleash a sound blast against nearby enemies, damaging and stunning them." Very well put together. But did you intend to reference feargas in the cryofoam notes and cryofoam in feargas notes?
That was the only thing that struck me as odd while reading it. Quick question on the stealth proc, other than Surprise Attack what other abilities can proc it? And again a wonderful guide that will help many players, makes me wish every powerset had someone dedicated to it.
The Stealth Proc is a bit weird. It works best with Surprise Attack. EMP Pulse, Cryo-Foam, and Fear Gas usually work. Cryo-Field sometimes will trigger the proc when it pulls you out of Stealth. Taser Pull, Sticky Bomb, Gauss Grenade, and Paralyzing Dart don't seem to work very well.
