The current Prestige Cap isn't going to work..

I really hope not. But I fear we are heading that way. Would totally stink for smaller leagues who need it to reach the cap.

Are you 100% positive that you would hit the cap 30 min after the reset if no one dematerialized anything? Because I find that very hard to believe.

we would hit the cap and still have all the stuff, we are extremely active. we earned the league hall fast

Yes, I was using the number in response to those who continue to wrongly state only 5 are in favor of keeping the cap.

It would seem to me, that people of such high intelligence would realize that this hoarding mentality does nothing to help their league, and only hurts each said individual.
If you have 4 items that total 10k+ prestige, and 7 of your league mates also have 4 items worth 10k+prestige each, then why on earth would you clog up your already limited inventory/bank space by hoarding . To do so is the very definition of redundancy.

Hoarding is a very real sickness, perhaps you should seek counseling.

if this was a zombie apocalypse i would hoard all the ration i can.... would i use it before the apocalypse NO HELL NO... but those that did will find themselves short on demand! The outcome will be that the people or groups using there rations wisely, will prosper ... while other groups fall apart of starvation! lmao

because league halls and prestige somehow equate to a zombie apocalypse? Are all the items and instances going to be taken by gangs of survivalists to be fought over tooth and nail?
I'm having trouble seeing how your analogy applies? Perhaps you could explain it further. Where are all the items and instance going? How is it that we are not going to able to earn more marks? I had no trouble replacing my 4 items this week.

How bout we go clash of clans up in here?! Prestige stealing PVP! Defender defend their Hall, attackers try to steal as much prestige as possible! Unfortunately there would have to be a cap on how many raiders go at at any given time. Oh well back to square one.

I guess you didn't read my post thoroughly so I'll fill out the blanks if you don't want to go back. we hit the cap because we did run content, not because we tributed gear. like I said it took us 2 days to get to about 90k and that's before getting the league hall without getting much activity on the league, do you really think that's because we didn't run anything? lol ok....

tbh I don't understand what's wrong with not hitting the cap anyways, it was put there to limit big leagues according to the devs but it's going to limit small leagues as well, if it takes a small league a week(till reset) to hit the cap then it's fine and we should keep it as is, but that is obviously not the case.

I'm in The Nomads which has 213 members, I've got 4 toons in the league and most have 2 or 3. I took 3 of the old 90 lvl weapons from the Mogo vendor and got over 10k in seconds from donation. I've got so many to donate on my other Toons and others in the league did so. There's typically 16 - 30 people on anytime I sign in.

that's how much prestige now? oh about 1327 per those 5... you won't always get the drops you want, and people will waste replay badges to get them, everytime they reset content they will earn prestige again until they hit the cap.

And you guys weren't expecting to hit the cap because of this?

Had you reached the cap before this instance? With as many members as you have, you must, right? If you guys hadn't hit the cap before, were you not aware that it existed? And if you didn't, why not?

Did you guys think the cap was going to disappear because you got a hall?
