The community wants different things, but what can we agree on?

It's a direct path, that's probably why many are ignoring the hidden issues, but at the same time it's a direct path, no more RNG, no more waiting for the raid on Thursday just to get so many green drops it makes Poison Ivy want to sue the DCUO for color copyright. There are hidden issues with this as with everything the devs do, we wanted balance and instead we got the most broken period in DCUO history (which isn't even that long), we wanted better PVP and instead we got almost 2 years with 3, just 3 PVP updates. My only real concern is how long will it take to level up alts, with monthly the more adds you had the harder it would be to level them up, one could get everything a month had in a week, while the other would only take 1 or 2 pieces. The current system just isn't player friendly at all, making you use replay badges if you wanted to catch up to the rest and making having alts a default instead of an advantage, it just isn't practical.

Also keep in mind people also celebrated when monthly was announced, and that had more clearer issues that this had, starting with open world content completely killed off and devs pretty much staying silent about it, so yeah even if it still takes 6 to 8 weeks, I would take that other the mess that monthly content ended up being.

One week, that's how long the devs had it on test server, a system that according to them would take 6 to 8 weeks to give you enough pieces for 1 gear piece (and a ring no less), they decided 1 week was enough to test it, that thing was a mistake from the start and it took almost 8 months for them to realize it.

When I said, I am one of those people, I am/was advocating for the vendor gear being the best. However, I do agree about the scrap system that initially started with promise, so I understand the wariness.

My current stance is pretty much "It sounds awesome but will be under scrutiny.* Though the increased communication from DCUO and willingness to be open to reasonable feedback, has been alleviating some of the wariness.

    I wholeheartedly agree.

I know enough people that left due to various reasons which included the RNG and a few that stayed who increasingly became disgusted with the RNG.

While I didn't leave, it was getting harder and harder to justify paying for a subscription that left so much up in the air: HOPING the gear you needed dropped, replay badges to "increase" the possibly of getting your gear sooner only to be invalidated quickly with another drop, no modding beyond alpha & betas, and a slew of other things. Others gave a better breakdown of the grievances, so I will stop there.

Make my marks and work/time in solo, duos, alerts, and raids count towards something - that is what I want.

Long overdue considering one is a premium power you have to pay for.

I'd hope that we all agree on PvP gear overpowering PvE gear in terms of PvP combat.

    Krypto.

I think we can all agree that we want Teekl and Krypto chasing each other around our bases.
