The Booster Bundle Is Back With New Auras And A New Price!

yea I agree, but the orange is slightly darker as where the yellow is bright and shiny looking.

make a black outfit and you will be able to tell the difference really good trust me

yea I woulda been pissed had I gotten fat aura's or slims all around and 0 plasmics

Im tickled pink that I have every plasmic released aside from the original plasmic.

New auras are great, but as an old player with red plasmic im very very dissapointed u made red/blue plasmic again in this bundle. Its clearly stated in old bundle noted that nimbus and plasmic from that bundle are exclusive!!!
Getting those auras wasnt cheap and alot of players paid over 100$ to get it and thats not a small thing. I paid with in game cash but it still wasnt a small amount. There arent many things exclusive in this game so this really hurts and u made alot of old players angry and in bad mood. This are the things u dont forget over night like game time issues.

I suggest u make a new colur aura for old owners of red/plasmic to compensate and get that exclusivity back.

Probably true, and I noticed that standing up against an alley wall in Gotham made the difference pop a little more. But Infyrneaux is a pink, yellow and orange kinda gal. Black is for mourning and she doesn't have time for such depressing endeavors.

Finally got a Smoke Aura. Read on forums an anecdote that players were getting the Smoke Aura on a lower level alt. Logged into my Lv 11 Celestial Villain, and the first bundle I purchased had the Smoke Aura. Was this a coincidence or is the drop rate skewed? Spent $60 on my main, and only got 1 single Nimbus aura (think they are rarer than Plasmic?). Then again, guess that is the luck of the draw, there are other players that got the aura they wanted in their 1-2 Bundle.


Now, would I complain if 1 yr from now, they rereleased the Smoke Aura, for newer generation of players? No. By all means, release that Aura and every other Aura. If people like I spent over $50 on the bundles, it was our choice. Just like others may have taken an easier route, and cheaper, to spend virtual money (without spending a dime of real cash) or trade items for it. It is valid. Maybe even smarter thing to do.


I think for the game's IRL economy, it would be great if they kept holding special seasonal events/bundles like this. Because it would attract newer players, and give a chance to older players that missed out on the previous deal. Though the devs should really take a look at at odds of getting the items. As long as the Auras remain exclusive to the Booster Gold Bundle, they would retain their rarity.


Yet, you wouldn't see me complaining if all auras made their way into the MP, down the road....

Bought three booster bundle packs and got a Black Smoky Aura, Red Nimbus, and Blue Plasmic. Guess I'll keep playing for a bit.... .

I decided to try one more time to get my 2 Green Nimbus Auras before turning to the Auction Broker. So I bought 3 more Bundles... and I got 1 more Red Plasmic Aura and 2 more Yellow Plasmic Auras.

As for using a lower level alt to purchase... all of my purchases were done with my newest character, who's Level 12 right now. Didn't get any Green Nimbus Auras or Black Smoky Auras with him, so it's totally down to luck.

In the meantime, one of my DCUO buddies came through with a Green Nimbus Aura for me, so I just need one more. I've begun farming Exobits to sell to buy one, but it's tough because at the moment, my characters don't have much money for the stupid Broker Deposits. And on the Hero side, the Green Nimbus is up to about $14 million. >_<

So, I went ahead and purchased 7 days of Escrow Access. As soon as I have the money for Deposits from selling Exobit stacks, I'll be selling off all my extra Auras to buy a 2nd Green Nimbus (I have 2 Green Lantern characters, so I always want doubles of the Green Auras.)

How are we supposed to buy the "new "bundle when you cant buy market cash toget it? I loaded a $ 50 psn card in my wallet and ordered the 5000 mc and still have gotten my coin WTF. You sure took my real money!!!!!!!!!

does this mean that the aura can be traded to another toon on the account if it doesn't suit the toon you bought it while logged into?

this answer determines whether I buy one or not... nothing like having a rage lantern with the whole style set and a Blue or green aura lol

I was merely giving a example of what to compare it to so you could see the true color of said aura.

its how to tell the colors when your doubting them, is what I do anyways, that or use a white outfit


but imo black works the best for making colors pop

Auras are totally tradeable, not only between characters on your account using the Shared Bank, but also can be traded to other players in the game, or sold on the Auction Broker!

out of 11 boxes I got 2 red nimbus,1 green nimbus,3 yeller plasmic,1 blue plasmic,2 red plasmic, 1 green plasmic and 1 orange plasmic. so then I had to pay more in game money for a smoke devs wht do u hate my toons wht gives I still have never gotten a single pice of op stuff never got a soda plan drop or even a plan that I can use . Kinda makes me want to try my luck at someone else's game. And no y'all can't have my stuff

I hope the other auras that are not included in the new booster packs will be sold in the marketplace along with the normal and slim auras cause I could really use a white nimbus aura for my iceman which would give I really cool effect with his appearance

A touch of yellow in it is better than it having too much blue, which makes it look like teal! And yet, that's how the game's official "Green Lantern Corps Green" looks on anything OTHER than the NPC GL Corps uniforms! >_<

Also, have you ever bothered to properly calibrate the colors on your monitor? I did it a few years back and it makes a BIG difference. And yet, most people never bother to do it, so they're stuck with whatever color settings the monitor had out of the box.

You can find websites that give you the tools to do it with a quick Google search.

This is probably why I'm having a hard time telling the difference between my yellow and orange plasmics.
