Ok, it’s been confirmed, he was partying hard with Fenrir & Mukoda from Campfire Cooking in Another World.

I’ll share the names of several Donghua (Chinese animation) that I personally likedto... start with one, maybe no one is interested.

To begin with, a tiny preface...I became acquainted with Chinese animation after reading several popular Chinese fantasy novels about cultivation (it so happened that several years ago, when I took a loved one to medical procedures...I had a couple of hours to wait and at that time I somehow got hooked on these stories...)...and then it turned out that started filming Donghua based on them...

The first one I would like to recommend is: “A Record of Mortals Journey to Immortality”.
They started filming it relatively recently and anyone who has been interested in donghua for a long time, watching it, will probably exclaim more than once “but I’ve seen this plot twist or move more than once” but!!! although donghua itself began to be filmed recently, it was based on one of the first stories about cultivation, and all those “turns and moves” appeared for the first time there. Well, if you are just starting to watch donghua...then God himself ordered you to start with where the book genre itself became more popular. In addition, visually animation is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful (but this is a matter of taste...)...

Not only pulling on some new threads put forth at the end of the first cour, but revisiting some old threads from way back in season one as well. Wasn't expecting to see that teacher again.

Haven't watched the show, but if this ending song doesn't just scream "Watch our wacky sitcom antics!" I don't know what else would.



And I'm not knocking the show at all, I watched the video with a stupid little happy grin on my face.

Looks gorgeous, and the premise (the "losing heroines" are all girls that have been turned down by guys they like) sounds promising.

Also, some of the spring shows have started wrapping up.

I didn't mention it because I started in a little later in the season, but I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince was a little odd. I checked it out after seeing it mentioned on the "Hottest Trash of Spring" video from the Mother's Basement channel and figured, "What the heck?"

Premise is that a former poor magic student was actually bullied to death, but he was such an obsessive individual over magic and the study of it that it carried over into his next life as the 7th prince. The show has some more than cringey moments (Lloyd's maid and her obsession over him considering he's still a child is right up at the top of the list) but I think other factors help overcome that.

The show's art style is a little more on the cartoony side, especially when they go for jokes or sight gags, and it makes for an entertaining watch. But the show goes HARD on its fight sequences, whether the fights are low stakes (Lloyd training with his maid) or high (the final arc). It makes for a great watch, with apparently enough people putting eyes on the show that they've already announced a second season.

Whether or not it's for everyone is definitely up in the air. But I liked it and would say it's at least worth a shot, especially on the action front.

One of my favorite anime of the season is Girl Band Cry. It is so good

Looking forward to tower of god season 2. Been a while since s1 came out.

So Mushoku Tensei wrapped up.

Woof. That show continues to deliver, with both animation and storytelling this season being great, and the last few episodes of this season hit a bit hard. The character montage at the end of the last episode, though, provides some interesting possibilities for season three (which was announced at the end of this season's final episode. Seriously, there was one pairing during the end credits that surprised me because of a tense moment seen earlier in the season.

I'm looking forward to future seasons. I've seen people say that volume 4 was very good so hopefully we get that adapted soon.

Another good one coming this fall is the overlord movie. This arc was great in the light novel. Happy they did it as a movie so they can put more work into this arc versus if it was just an anime season.

Oh it gets good! I went and listen to all the audio books

Man, it's starting to look like "what's old is new" is the path for anime. Guess it beats yet another isekai.
