Thank you for finally starting to phase out the PS3

The community is now phasing out Ps3 players, was in multiple Throne/HOH runs where they just kicked the guy that DCed because "they're PS3, they're gonna keep crashing".
The more this problem continues the deeper this mentality seeps in.
So is there finally a timetable for dropping support for the Ps3?

Doubt it, unless PS3 population drop so low, no point of keeping it. As long as they have more then enough players, no point of dropping it!

Yes PS3 is getting dropped in 2017 from Sony( they are shutting down ps3 servers).

However this weekend alone I have seen the discrimination towards PS3 players in LFG chat is tremendous.

I have for 1 been shouting PS4 groups only, as I dont plan to get half way through something only for a tank/heal/troll to DC.

is it fair? probably not, but why should I lose out on earning feats for someone who wont take their gaming to the next level? I wont. Doubt anyone will actually.

I don't necessarily blame them from seeing all these reports from PS3 players freezing and crashing.

I understand it, why would anyone want a group member who's gonna dc on inopportune times. I don't really blame the community for this.
The devs want US to want to phase out the Ps3 and I think it's working.

You can massage the issue all you want.

PS3 players can shout they spend money to.

Daybreak can tell you they have plans to continue to support PS3.

The simple truth is this, when PS4 dropped the days of PS3 support were numbered if you own a PS3 and play this game enjoy it because through no fault of your own it will be phased out in the future.

As far as current playability issue for PS3, drop the system or make the game playable for people who use the system. That said I know they are trying to get it resolved because while it may be a future date that date is not today.

when I go to play the game again (monday) I will continue to LFG PS4 groups only regardless if the issue is resolved or not. It is my reassurance that no1 will DC in the heat of the moment.

As much as I support people sticking to PS3, I understand the need to ask and boot for playing on PS3. Until they fix the client issues the last update brought, it's understandable not to want to magically lose players in the middle of an instance.

You do realize what is affecting the ps3 is part of the ps4 coding.

They only need to implement it to affect the ps4 when they feel the time is right.

Because you do not show the symptoms does not mean you're not sick.

If I were playing on a PS3 and experienced all these problems I would just upgrade. It's $400 new or $300 used. It's a lot of money but people spend way more for PCs. If you save $100 from every paycheck you could afford one in two months. It's not that bad.

TBH, if you can't afford a ps4 playing and spending money on a game should be way down on your Priority list.

It's been a pain having a tank/heal/troll or dps disconnect in the middle of throne. I ran it earlier and the dps that got teleported froze, so the support roles had to kill the ad which took a while and caused a wipe. Not to mention, ps3 players seem to take their time to come back... It's pretty understandable why ps3 players have been getting excluded from raids at the moment.
