There's probably precedent for Jimmy Olsen looking like that at some point. There's precedent for Jimmy Olsen looking like almost anything, he was transformed so many times.

If you want material that is derived from other people's intellectual property, it had better be property in the public domain, or it isn't going to happen or it's terrific grounds for a lawsuit.

A post like this would be great evidence of intent to violate copyright, FWIW.

I highly recommend sticking to using illustrations from material in the public domain, or that belongs to DC. I know your intent is entirely pure and honest, but the more pictures people post of intellectual property that belongs to other companies, accompanied by requests to make styles like these, the more legally difficult you make it for DCUO to make anything resembling those designs. It's advocating a violation of copyright, which is to say, it's requesting DCUO break the law. This is not helpful to DCUO.

If you can't find illustrations in the public domain, try to draw something original yourself. Just don't say "please make a costume that looks like this stuff from this other company which I'm now providing evidence to support a potential future claim of malicious intentional theft by suggesting in public that DCUO commit exactly that crime in this exact case."

It's not as helpful as you would hope it would be.
