What you all think about having portable teleporter on the go you can just summon for example let’s say you farming bosses from old open worlds for source mark and instead of having to constantly go to house of legends to go to the next area you can just simply do it from the open world to the next just a little fun wonky idea I think that some may or may
Not enjoy as a feature to the game but don’t get me wrong we will still go to the house of legends and watchtower because John Constantine cyborg rip hunter style vendors and things of that Nature but the thought of having teleporter on the go will be convenient for open world what you all think :)

Its like a carbon copy of r&d amenity and portable work station. They just need to do it for Teleporter amentiy and put portable teleporter to marketplace. Im all down for it.
  4. BumblingB I got better.

They had consumables that were for HQs and the PvP open world events, I can't see why these couldn't come back in the form of a generalized teleportal pad. We could have it as a personal boom tube or something.

Yep, I've had them for every new character created since Jan-21 (when I started). Never had any idea what to do with them, mainly because I don't do PVP and I don't think I need a 'HQ' one. Also they are No Trade No Sell. Maybe the reason behind them is lost in the mists of time?

To express a preference, I would be tempted to go back to Wastelands if they made the teleporters there work in both directions.

Be cool if it even had the animation. I think it would work best as a single trinket for all episode maps just like the Orrery takes you to any and all of them. And use of the trinket would spawn a "teleportation hub" that upon entering would give you all the option in tiers also just like the Orrery. I'm sure you guys already meant that, but figured I'd put those details into words as well just so they'd be there for the devs or anyone else looking at the thread. Or maybe even just add it to the "warp menu" and have the player open the warp menu, select a tier, then get options of the open worlds in that tier to pick from. IDK how possible that approach is, though. A trinket may be more doable for the devs just programming-wise.

When the game started, there was no map teleporting to Gotham/Metropolis and the HQ had like an hour cooldown on it. So the HQ consumables were useful as well as the PvP ones to just get you to the area. When DLC 2, Lightning Strikes, came out, they became more useful to get you to a few of the bounties. Then when DLC 5, Hand of Fate, came out, to go between Gotham and Metropolis.
Things stared to change when Home Turf came out. Players were warping to their bases to get to Gotham or Metropolis to do the Bounties or HOF operations. I don't exactly remember when they introduced the Gotham or Metropolis teleport to the Map. They also shortened the HQ's timer a few times. (I think first iteration was 30 minutes?)

Yeah, like make it work like the Map one, where you can't use it if you are in combat. Hit the trinket, it does the animation and motherbox sound then boom and a pad appears that uses your base teleport pad UI.

Yeah, I dig it. To be honest though, it's really just as easy to teleport to a small empty base (for quick loading) with just a teleporter by the entrance and the appropriate generator mods (Urgent Warfronts, Gotham & Metropolis, Bases & League halls).

Yes! Always wanted it. Maybe even costumizable? But it would probably make teleporting take longer lol

Was just about to reply similiar lol

people need to be careful with asking for so many animations etc - a lot ofthe playerbase would be annoyed if they have to sit through any animation that lasts more tham a second, especially for a convenience item

Oh yeah, I remember those! If this game's servers were a bit more "stable" I would would say "oh yeah" to the personal boom tube idea.

I dont this the servers can handle the randomness of characters teleporting in and out from wherever they are standing on the map. I can see how players could get stuck under the map just by self-teleportation, especially in areas that are are subject to frequent lag. Some maps are small so there would be no point of self-teleporting out of them when the HQ portal is never far away. Both Central City maps are very small and they have HQ portals that are not far from any open mission areas.

A generalized teleport pad would take you to all of the episodes available.

I agree with BumblinB with generalized teleportal pads in larger zones; for example, I can envision a general teleportation pad in the middle of Gotham Wastelands (between Trigon's Prison entrance and the Villian Outpostl), since that map is very large. Gotham and Metropolis could use a couple of them strategically placed so players will not have far to go to teleport to another World Tier.

I could see it at least being a group function where the leader opens it and everyone presses X. That would be convenient for the people who aren't fanatic enough to know the order of DLC's off by heart and keep them in the running.

Whether through a consumable (less preferred option) or through an option in the Map Teleportation Menu (much more preferred) we need an option to teleport to where our group is for those times when our characters get LOCKED OUT of the Boss Fight Room during a raid with no way in to rejoin the rest of the group!

Of course, we wouldn't need such an option if the Devs would just design the raid levels properly!:p

Yes I 10000000% degree. Lore wise they could just say we have our own personal boom tube. I would love for it to be obtainable in game but im pretty sure the devs will monetize them somehow. I could see them making it in 2 ways:
    A. Make it like the portable workstation where it costs $5 but its a one time purchase for all your characters.
    B. Make them similar to repair bots where you either have to purchase them or get them from the fate or loyalty vendor.

Again id want them to make it obtainable in the game without purchase, but even if they did it in one of the ways mentioned above I would be down.
