I've been around lots of people and taken part in killing Ravens evil self several times but I've yet to get credit for doing so now last night I noticed the quest icon has a 4 on it. Do I actually need to be in a group to get credit? Seems a bit silly if so because all the other world bosses ive done location and getting hits in has been enough
It is a group bounty. So to get credit, you need to do a certain percentage of damage. If you are in a group, the group will most likely reach that percentage of damage. An individual with a CR over 113 should be able to reach that percentage due to CR scaling.
so u don't need to be in a group? I've been running at as my healer cause theres never a healer there. I'll run it as dps tonight
If you're not grouped and others in the field are grouped, you're competing against their collective damage. Chances are you won't get credit unless you're overgeared and the group is not.
