At first, my problem with my style tab is I would get things I didn't choose whenever I logged in, like a belt or gloves. In minor annoyance, but I was able to correct my super-suit to look the way I wanted it. But recently, I can't even do that now. ( I hope this problem will be fixed soon.
Handblasters, Martial Arts, and Brawling each have a style on the weapon that, in most cases, covers your hands. Your gloves will be hidden beneath the weapon. Try going to your Weapon style, setting it to None, and then locking it. That should display your original Hands style again.
