Is it normal to be able to collect female styles for a male character and vice versa? When I first started playing the game during the summer of last year I didn't think that it was possible, but now it seems that it is and I'm sure that I have collected more than a few styles for the opposite gender on more than one of my characters by mistake even though I'm not trying to do so since I know that collecting them will do no good on the wrong gender right? Yet, why does the game say "not collected" in green when going to purchase styles in the vendors when they are obviously for the wrong genders? Is this something that I should put in the bug or support threads?
I think only hairstyles and some of the war room styles are male/female only. All other styles should be purchasable for either gender, I think.
General vendors. You can buy female styles but not wear. Not a bug, no support needed. That's intended. If you want to try female styles, yuo can creating a female toon & try them. All other styles are really exclusive from Briefs - Colls & Inv.
Yes, this is what I was getting at. So, since it's not a bug, then why is it intended if it does no good for use? Buying, for example, a female only costume piece or hairstyle with a male character or just the opposite with male styles for a female one if they can't be used. Is it just to get the "x-amount" of style collection feats?
Funny you should mention this... Just a few days ago I went to one of the style vendors in the War Room (or whatever it's called). I just wanted to see if there were any styles I never bought. The Female Only styles USED to have red lettering stating that you could not buy and or equip. That is no longer true. So, something has changed.
