I'm ok with the Free to play aspect its the money grubbing that came with artifacts, all that is a direct carry over from never winter.

I'm not sure what it says when many longtime players are more loyal to the game and stick around vastly longer than developers and executives.

It's difficult, at best, for the game to develop consistently in the long term, or be able to usefully make long-term plans, if top management comes and goes every couple of years.

I actually applied for a job because I'm a freaking lunatic with a hidden formation that would intimidate some people.

I dont think the game will change much, after all Panderus and Charon have been leading and communicating for a while instead of Jack. Unless they left as well.

Keeping this as polite as possible, because what I truly want to say is probably not forum safe, despite the fact he's left.

But Good riddance, this is the best development for DCUO in years, Jack Emmert kills every game he touches, he nearly killed Neverwinter, he nearly killed Star Trek Online, He did kill City of Heroes and he's nearly killed this one as well.

I have hopes now for a fresh start that perhaps might be positive for this game rather than the incessant "mobile game-esque" loot box practices and other garbage that man brought in with him.

I always start to do the survey but get stalled at the first question. Why is it binary?? Can we not have the common "strongly" and "somewhat" adverb options? Binary pass/fail categorization is so ill-fitting for nearly everything in life with most things falling on a spectrum. D.I's support and development of DCUO is no exception.

He was the CEO dude... hence why I'm restraining myself, but I am absolutely pleased he's gone.

(Albeit the investment group that owns the company ultimately calls the shots, sets the budget, and we don't know what else.)

I'm glad he's gone too. I didn't have a problem with loot boxes, I had a problem with feats being behind them because that would sell. I've played other games that had loot boxes and progression was never behind it in those... It baffled me that people were okay with it here.
