How much did he out heal you by? Like, you give numbers of power in but don't quote the heal numbers.

Nature is the strongest healing class, I don't think that is in question. Quoting a load out doesn't show your play style but, tbh, if you are solo healing PW and Nexu you can solo heal A&B and probable aren't doing anything wrong. He probably just had faster reaction times than you or was spamming hots while people weren't damage so they got healed as soon as they took damage.

As for the Rage Tank - yeah they "heal" a lot. That's how the class mitigates damage, it instantly heals damage constantly during one of it's powers.

1.3 Mil is what I had and he had 2 Mil it was alot. Does a Rage tanks heals only heal them or does it go toward the entire group.

Do you ever find yourself getting Blistered by Nature when it comes to Healing Out .

That nature healer was just spamming power to look good. I'd guess that 60-80% of the player base never looks at the anything other than the first page of the score card. To the naked eye it looks like he did better, but I'd be willing to bet his spamming caused the dps and maybe the tank to be low on power, as well as force the trolls to be full time battery with barely any power to debuff or CC.

Your healing to power ratio was much better than his.

Sounds like you were doing great :)

680,000 power in for a healer:eek:. I wont use that much power in 3 runs in healer role, definitely a spammer. Like those sorcery healers that spam rejuvenate even when no damage is happening, just so they can get those crits and look good on the scorecard, just gotta shake your head.

Rage Tanks heal only themselves BUT they heal better than healers when it comes to healing themselves. Only thing is that they cannot heal all the time, they have their "Awesome healing" for about 80% of the raid. As a Rage tank, I've out healed healers...which is kinda crazy lol.

Okay guys, so yesterday I dusted off my Celestial alt with 56SP and 3700 Resto and was able to solo heal A&B, so for those who are not sure on Full resto or Resto Prec, Just remember Resto excessive at this point. In that same day, a 2900 Resto Solo Electric healer Solo heal my Ice tank (45SP) thorough A&B.....Both of these runs were under 35mins.

With resto/prec you lose 120 resto but gain 216 prec. the loss of 120 resto isn't going to make a difference.

Skill accounts for just about everything in that run. :D

This is info I was looking for since I'm switching back to celestial to set up a damage healer.

I see the loadout ... is there info on the actual points in trees? Obviously I need the mirror power for the cleansed versions people are talking about but I've been gone from DCUO a long time but ... my angel gal really needs to swap to this powerset ;)

I would love to add much more information BUT it was my fault for not reserving replies so I can add more to the guide. Currently there is not much I can add and if I do the whole formatting will be messed up and chaos. It also depends what you are going for, healer or battle healer?

What loadout and role are you interested in?
  15. Sarielle New Player

Forgive me you two, I should have specified. :) I would prefer to start as pure healer because that's what I'm more familiar with in this game (will be switching from electricity). I can work on battle healer as I get more comfortable with pure.

I'm currently running the following pure healer loadout: Renew (Curse), Admonish (Blight), Consume Soul, Blessing, Divine Light, Consecrated Ground. The only ones I combo are Renew and Admonish. Admonish to Blight is one of your core heal over time casts. I put the combo to cleansed Curse in there, because I had the power point to spare. I also spec the 2 healer Iconics. You could go with Life Drain as the SC, but I prefer CG.

That's very helpful, thank you :D

I'd also take advice on battle healer allocation though, for future reference. You know, if you guys are feeling generous! ;) Respecced to celestial! Will inflict my bad heals on friends after work tonight to relearn the ropes, lol.

    Enjoy!

As for battle healing, I'm currently using a very aggressive loadout: Anoint, AcB, McB (Malediction/Benediction), RcW (Retribution/Wither), DLcP (Divine Light/Plague), CI (Cursed Idol). To pull it off, you have to have enough SP to spec the DPS crit innates, as well as the tier 1 healer innates, from the weapon trees. I also like to wear some DPS gear to raise my precision. Current setup has me at about 4k resto and 1k prec. I also carry the prec trinket, which I try and use before Anoint, when possible. Pushes my prec to ~2500.

Going to be awhile before I have SPs to spec that aggressively, but it's definitely a nice target build. Thanks again!

Im use to Pure healing because Main electric healer. Im looking to dust off my 4th toon and make her celestrial now that I can buy feats.
I have few question as Im praticing it on main to get Cr 101 perspective.
Is both pure and battle heal around equally good?
Should I wait till I get all dps innates before thinking about battle healing? Note my skill points is 109 so almost finish with extra restro innates
