Up-Votes Needed Steam version still running.

    ..even if i exited the game. i noticed this when trying to exit steam after i played for awhile. that dcuo pc online eu server is still running?
    this happens to me alot lately. i just wonder what it is.

    update* i restarted my computer and now ot works. very odd tho. pprobably a virus or something.

    I've occasionally noticed that the process for the Launcher has not closed properly on my computer, steam might count the open process as "playing" the game. (Steam generally counts the launcher being open as the game being played.)

    Definitely NOT a virus. This kind of thing is either corrupted O/S, in which case it would affect all your running applications, or simply a problem with either the client or the steam.

    Launcher not closing on game start happens for me from time to time too. What OS you're on? I'm on Win7, DCUO Steam version.

    oh sorry im on win 10 enterprise.
    and it still runs in the background on steam after i have closed it.
