I had to create a seperate thread cause they already closed the one I posted in a while ago :(

In that thread I noted to add a video related to that post, however I always had different stuff coming up so I could get it up much faster but finally got it done (and yes its long, blame the health of the bosses or the DPS like we always do :p)

If you don't wanna listen to my voice you can mute me and just re-read the post instead, same result but the voice commentary feels less ranty imo.

    To remember my original post:

And as always: Everything in the video that can be seen is subject to change and does not represent a final version in any form!

    Thank you :)

Tanks are ****** up for sure for now, its beyond encouraging ppl to want to play tank and that's already an issue on live.

this video of electricity saddens me greatly.

i hope the next version actually fixes electricity once and for all. Why is it so hard for the devs to do right by electricity? What exactly do you guys have against it?

going on three years and its still not right

We'll def see what they'll have in story for next test vers. The week is coming up so they're supposed to be releasing another statement. That whole revamp was done completely to try and get those TC mods to matter in gameplay to enforce tc sells. I tell ya now, they're gonna try again to slide those mods in gameplay, we just as a community need to be harden enough to say enough is enough if that comes again.

The Stats Revamp was supposed to have been released before the capsule mods came out, according to Mepps. I don't see what would have changed though if that was the case. We still would have whined about the cooldowns and power costs, just without the mod conspiracy theory attached to it lol

Ofc. Either route they took, 2 and 2 would eventually be put together. Im just afraid the community on live wouldn't be as strong willed as those who tested and was part of the testing feedback, to know how to get the point across to the devs that "This was not the type of game we wanted(if we're talking how things were on the past revamp, templates like 1.0)". And just just be told to adjust. Especially the new ones around who don't know they deserve better.

But I no doubt in mind know if that was the case, some of the folks whos been here on test and forums, would leave. Thus hoping to be more of a impact then gaining new players.

Well, it's not like they didn't do something like this before. The major nerfs to weapon holds and speed to some combos the 2 GUs before GU36 was so they could add Weapon Mastery to the game. Which originally was going to be a paid system. I still think several of the weapons are still rather damaged because of it.

They know what they would be adding to the game well advanced before they get added. Conspiracy or not, adding cooldown mods and power back mods to the game made no sense until we saw the stats matter changes.

As for order of release, I think they directed some of the resources to launching AF3 quicker.

I agree. This was already well thought out on the devs part. They knew exactly what they were doing

But the problem is that the tc mods they've released don't even fix the game play. It would be no noticeable difference whether you ran with tc mods or not. From a sales standpoint, it's like they're trying to tell us a new paint job will make the car run better (because, you know, red makes you faster).

I think that is just your perception of red.
