Stats Matter should come 1st! Then release the new Amazon content!

Just my opinion. Now the devs have to readjust the new DLC to fit the Stats matter movement. I know people are ready for new content, but I just see this as more work for the devs. In MY OPINION, stats matter should have been released first. We would have brand new content with new loadouts to figure out.

Which release should have come 1st? Stats Matter or The Amazon DLC?

DLC first then see how the stat change will work out in the end-game

stats matter should come when it is ready and not before ,it needs to be done right before it goes live and the new dlc is right on schedule so theres no reason to hold it back and we don't know yet how long stats matter will take ,it could be 2 months it could be 6 months so holding back dlc would be silly

We also don't know if all the proposed changes are going to work. We got 2 powers released in the AM word built around their AM they have to be majorly reworked. I would not be surprised if stats don't matter until mid July or next dec.

Actually the stats matter stuff should of came out before the game even went to Xbox.

If it is ready they should release it. Which ever that applies to. The problem with releasing both at the same time is how do you test it? With things that practically change the entire game you have to have something very stable to compare them to. If you have 2 wildly different variables in the same problem it can be very difficult to tell which is causing issues. Where as I agree it would be fun to tackle both at the same time from a player POV. The devs are looking to the player base for a huge portion of what is balanced in the coming months for both systems. So just for the sake of getting it right they should be released separately.

I believe stats matter should come 1st.We are going to get full sets of gear this time around so our CR's are going to skyrocket. Thanks to CR differential it's gonna be a huge problem for a lot of ppl.

Not true at all. The devs stated from when they announced the stats revamp that it was being developed outside of normal content releases and that they would not delay AF3 for it, which means they had already worked on both a CR differential and stats version of the episode. They have always been up front and said that the stats revamp will stay on test for as long as it needs to to make sure it's actually ready for live when it hits live.

Amazon Fury Part 3 should definitely come first.

In an ideal world, Stats Matter would happen first. But based on the scenario the devs are in, the way they're doing it is the best choice.

I'm hanging on by a thread and the only reason I log in anymore is to run Survival Mode, which is going away in less than a week, apparently. The new content can't come fast enough.

However, I do completely empathise. I've played the solo and duo content and it's very easy. CR differential continues to inflict damage on the game. But I can live with that, considering the large amount of things to chase in the new episode, including 42 feats, several of which require you to grind.

Let Keep it Honest Stats Matter will ruin the new dlc very few will be able to run it.

As Community Standards if they can't beat the content with in day or 2
Then the demands for nerfs or revoking memberships will ensue.

Dcuo is hanging in there but for how long?

Many has Left. Few has stayed. Game is reverting back to original Format is it seems.
Many Play games for new experience.

Very few wanna go back to old game when so many games out there has better gameplay.

Honestly Stats matter should have come before AF3. This only delays stats matter slightly further due to more content having to be tested for it. Which also delays electricity and nature players( and other underperforming powersets) to enjoy the new DLC.

Which ultimately means many players wont come back until stats matter is in effect. While people who dont play those powers will come back due to content.

The game is having sales left and right to try to maintain income if its not obvious, and they need AF3 sales from premium members or people to renew their legendary subscription. Stats matter wont come out in the next 3-4 months on the live servers. AF3 also has some grindy feats to keep people busy inbetween time.

However for AF3 all the solo, duo, and alert content is extremely easy and should help accomodate those underperforming powers and allow everyone to gear up. That is probably the only good news out of this DLC releasing before stats matter.

If you watch the videos, the enemies have low health it seems. I think Electric and Nature will do just fine.

I always do fine on my nature toon, I don't anticipate having any trouble with the content.

Stats Matter should come when it's ready. It would be asinine to delay content for something that may take months and months to test.

Sure I'd have preferred if we had the stats revamp two years ago. But this isn't a democracy where we vote on what the devs do, they made decisions and we get the content and updates when they say we do.

Pssst...Amazon Fury 3 is Episode 27. They are no longer called DLCs, and it has nothing to do whether it's monthly or quarterly. ;)

I couldn't disagree with the OP more. Players and leagues are now DESPERATE for new content to run. It's dragged on for far too long. The stats revamp will make a certain type of player return and resubscribe, I agree, but this is a game and people of all abilities and levels of interest are bored. I'm not saying the stats revamp isn't needed soon, but I'm sick of having nothing to actually do.
  19. spack2k Steadfast Player

new content had to happen before stats revamp because else there wouldnt be anyone to test stats matter ... ppl barely log in to run halloween event ... and this is gone in a week.

That's a great point. If you delay the DLC that's already done for the sake of pushing a complete game-changer, you would have to release the DLC short afterwards anyway. Since the DLC itself is different than the ones we got for the last 1 (?) year, when complaints start to flow in (and there are always complaints), you would have a very hard time to hold the ones about the DLC apart from the ones about the stats. And since both the DLC and the revamp are important issues that will surely influence how the game will be going forward, it's only logical for the devs to play it save.

While I would (egoistically) agree that stats revamp would be great to have like RIGHT NOW, if not yesterday, I'd rather the devs take their time and make it right, instead of having to fix half of the revamp after it went live unfinished.
