Sorcery AM suggestions

    Suggestion 1.
    Fury Spell Echo:
    This AM works by the player using a power then the Fury mimicking the same power. Both the player and the Fury restore power to one another allowing them to continue to use different powers in your loadout. It could only work with instant/burst powers so powers like Circle of Destruction wouldn't work with this AM.

    For example:
    While the Fury is alive/summoned a Sorcery dps can use a power (such as Soul Barrage), then the Fury mimics that power. When the Fury mimics the power the player receives power back for using Soul Barrage. The next ability cast by the Sorc dps such as Transmutation will restore power to the Fury, then the Fury mimics that power and restores power to the sorc dps.

    Perhaps the mimicked power cast from the Fury would be a stronger version of the power cast by the player in order to keep up with other AMs. This AM could also make use of powers that aren't used very often in sorc dps loadouts such as Soul Storm, and Soul Barrage. For this AM I would also recommend changing Karmic Backlash to a ranged ability so that players can have an additional ranged power to use. Alternatively, Offering could be changed to be a damaging ranged power also as you wouldn't need it to restore power anymore. This AM would set Sorcery apart from other AMs and truly bring something refreshingly different to the game.


    Suggestion 2.
    Red Soul Aura Spellweave: (doesn't have to be called Spellweave)
    Using something to instantly activate Red Soul Aura such as the Fury or Offering, the Sorcery dps can activate a chain of burst powers then use a power like Soul Storm to deal a "finishing blow" and refresh the Red Soul Aura and begin a new Spellweave. This AM could function like Fires (except stronger) or Quantums. If it must involve the Fury, then the Fury could be summoned to begin the mechanic, then by pressing the Summon Fury power again you could activate Red Soul Aura. Pressing the Summon Fury slot after the Fury has been summoned is also a good way to restore power to the fury, rather than using Offering and having it take up another slot on your loadout.

    I'd rather not rely on a pet for an am, I prefer powers like the rest. Maybe wod, cod, and transmute, or throw shard in there or anything to avoid pet am. Most pets are not surviving the new raids.

    sad but true. the pets kinda blow, but i think they are dead set on having pet powers for some strange reason.... i highly doubt they would exclude the pet for they AM. they should just do away with the pets if they wont make them great.

    If there is a Pet based AM, I really like the idea of being able to control or augment the pet's actions in some way. I think this is a really really good idea.

    I think they should do 2 AMs like HL got (although they only really use one), but there are many of us who chose sorcery because of the pets. Devs have said several times they consider sorc to be THE pet class in dcuo, so getting rid of it would be truly sad. It would completely take away the power's uniqueness imo, but I have no problem whatsoever with them having an additional option for people like you who don't care for pets.

    Of course if they do a new AM for non-pet sorc, they should help us pet enthusiasts with a revamp of fury. I like the ideas here, but knowing the dev team that might be a bit too much work. I think fury would be fine if he scaled to our might instead of cr and if they gave us some way to get power back

    An easy way would be to make Offering give the player power back if you have red soul aura and make fury do his heavy hitter when you use Offering with RSA active. That way you have control of the moment you want him to hit hard instead of him just wasting power.

    Sorcery has the most unique pis in the game that should be included in am. I want a karma/soul am. As long as rsa and bad karma are active make the soul moves reSpite power to player and pets. But not just our pets let it restore sidekicks and earth pets like offering used to as well.

    not that I don't like pets it's the idea relying on them for an am I have an issue with! If pet adds to it in some way I wouldn't have an issue. Appears wm is effected by pets so it' odd how they did that!

    Other than lack of power return and skill required, the problem with a Pet AM is that, shielded or not, pets tend to die in high-level content. They walk into AOE attacks and poof.

    How about getting rid of pet AM and introducing a new AM based around Circle of destruction. While CoD is up all moves recieve a 80% buff and power is restored after cast. Simple and effective.

    A nice AM would be if sorcery could blow up or sacrifice their pet for power.

    Now that is a great idea. Fury could restore power when banished... Maybe explode... Maybe give a might buff depending on PIs that are set up.

    The AM should revolving around applying bad karma and powers that add additional damage to enemies that are affected by bad karma.

    First off, I'd like to complain about Atomic getting to bring back your dead team mates, but not Sorc. Necromancy is is magic, magic is Sorcery. I've been saying for years that should be a Sorcery power, then you put it in this new power >.> W. T. F.

    Why would any healer go Nature OR Sorcery at this point? I've been Sorcery since almost the beginning of this game, it's my first power and I have tried to stick with it, creating alts for other roles. But this is my favorite power and it feels as though it's been cheated. I can't speak for nature really because I rarely play it, but I don't see them getting a much better deal. It's made me want to quit playing. Which is a big deal after playing for like 4 years. -.- other games came out, never left. This is the only game I even own for PS4 (just to stress how seriously I've taken this game, I bought my PS4 FOR DC.)



    --End rant, moving on.

    I like the idea of giving power back and forth from the pet.

    I also think the pet should have health like the side kicks do. Have you seen those things survival rate in SM? Impressive. Even Boo is more OP than fury in terms of survival rate.

    And I also love the idea of giving Sorc a burst load out that does not completely knock you off the scoreboards if you use it. Most powers have the option of whether they want to go burst or DoTs, Sorc should too.

    I really also like the idea of Fury minimicing our powers, only hitting harder than we do. Customization would be nice also, as in we control how the fury reacts somewhat (Sorc is known as THE pet power, so that would be a nice unique idea.) And being based on our Might rather than CR. So they should put down their own circle and soul well or literally any power we use, save for maybe a super charge? I'm not asking to be OP here :) I just wanna be in the competition.

    You could also change Offering to a longer cool down and make ilt a buff that makes your pet hit like 50K.


    So TLDR version: Fury gives back power after mimicking our power, Any power we use, hits really hard, and is based on Might. Possibly make the pet have controllable options. And give Sorc a burst load out (buff burst damage powers)

    Like I said before better interactions with the pet including a power back mechanic and a buff for our pets and our might damage while in AM Mode.

    Also the pet is glitched only one of fury's powers gets the Pi buff and fury only hits 4 targets. It would be nice to fix that while at it. -_-

    *sigh* i love Sorcery too. it is also my favorite power. i wish there were a way to submit our ideas to the devs.... i thought about getting the ps4 for dcuo too, but im so tired of the imbalance of the game... until the powers in the game are equal i have decided not to continue playing. its insulting that the new powers will be superior to the old ones upon release. munitions AM will have greater dps than several other powers. that was one of the last straws for me. i was also hoping that the other powers would get the treatment quantum got. the timebomb idea is so unique and amazing. but what celestial and rage get are just buffs.... such a let down. im looking at other mmos to throw my money at. i found a new that still in its beta, and it looks very promising. ill keep checking up on dcuo for the rest of the year, but for now. im done.
