Ran the alert last night trying to get the feats out of the way, and then it came to the Sock'em feat. One in our group got it on his first attempt, so he knew what to do and ran with us to show what we needed to do. This group k'od the turrets in 5-10 seconds, went like this fine without issue, then as Sinestro was getting down to about 25% health, when a turret would pop up and we'd destroy it, another would pop up immediately, immune to any damage and empowering the robot. We wiped and tried it several more times, each time the turret would "glitch" and empower the robot earlier and earlier in the fight regardless of how quickly we would destroy it.
Just adding another bug to the list, I got this feat because the green construct didn't spawn (so it didn't died).
