So about this Earth buff?

Earth DPS is killin for me. I'm 113 and only have synth mods and 136 SP so my stats aren't all that great. With this new Earth buff and my new loadout I keep up toe to toe with Munitions when they're meleeing. At the end of HoH, I was only 2 mil Damage out away from Quantum and he was 112. I'm loving it. It's so much better. Fire and Mental users that don't have the right Loadout are the ones that are really getting the short end of the stick now. This is THE closest I've ever been to balance in powers.

Yeah, I think Earth is slightly better than Munitions and Ice. Probably way ahead of Fire. People keep telling me Ice keeps up with Quantum, but no one will tell me the loadout that does. It sure as heck isn't the AM for Ice that does, and I find it doubtful anything else would. Maybe they're playing with bad Quantum players.

And if any of you are curious my Loadout is:

Rumblecrush, Totem, Reinforce, Fortify Golem, Summon Crystal, and Meteor Shower.

I always have Crystal summoned. Then my first attack is Weapon Mastery to RC, FG, Totem clipped with Reinforce. Then WM into RC until FG's cooldown is done then I'll WM into that and clip it with Reinforce. I always make sure my PI is up which is why I just Weapon Mastery into RC when things are on cooldown. By the time Totem is up you can start at the beginning of the rotation again.

I'm only 113 DPS and I've consistently been 1st/2nd DPS. I spec into Crit Dam/Chance first then I spec into Might/Prec equally.

Celestial isn't short of Quantum.

in amazon duos quantum cant keep up with ice quantum is only dangerous if the time bomb explodes

You're forgetting the Crit buffs from Totem

Wish it meant something. Im doing better just leeching off my Celestial DPS in league runs.

Agreed. I have been a long time earth user for dps. Just specc precision and rely on wm crits. I have noticed while using crystal my damage out is better. Also earth takes a while to get use to and lots of experimenting with powers plus loadouts. Earth is alot better then what players give it credit for in dps stance. I have saved lots of groups with it. My damage isnt always top but thats fine. I could show you some things. If your on usps villain side. I also dont mind helping you get better with it. Remeber it takes time to get use to.

Well I would beg to differ, yes celestial is a really good, but it's a bit short of quantum mostly since the recent stat flattening, might got boosted a bit more than precision.

your cleaver and abnormally defensive I didn't claim to know it all. I said crystal does the damage thought I made it clear that the damage I do is just a plus but you are going to hear what you want to. You complained about something and claimed that it was universal. It's not universal most earth users appreciate the gu 47 changes, if you would get down off you high horse find a earth dps and ask for his loadout. I won't be helping you any more. Good luck bud

Agree OP Earth is still trash. Recharge crystal+ WM spam= snooze fest.
