So 10 or 20% off sale

When was the last time we've had a 50% off sale ... i cannot remember ... i don't think we'll see one ever again... so even following this dlc i will not go overboard with this sale ... until i see that 50% slapped on the sale

We will, we only see 50% off sale when the population is low. Right now the 20% off sale is to get people back who left for other games and who were mad at the relevancy and didnt see the new changes with AF2 in the mix. I predict the 50% off sale for everyone will be in the fall right before Destiny Expansion, and ESO add on.

Legendary members get 20% off all items instead of the usual 10%. This is effective until Sunday night.

yes but its marketing .. the sound sale may peak intrest and start binge buying... but i was suggesting that people offer restraint and not to make it a success ... or else they may nvr see 50% sales again

I dont plan to buy anything and I usually spend $50+ on 20+ sales

But after awhile ya really don't need anything, still have a ton of replays n total rec from booster, it's like going to a all u can eat when ur full, nothing looks good

it's not exactly the same because for stores in real life they want to get rid of all the stock in the stores. but since dcuo has unlimited stock they want to get the most money they can from sales. it's not about selling the most inventory. maybe they're losing money by doing 50% sales.

Lol sorry man but it's a consumers 's market even in mmos- our cash is good anywhere and any MMO is willing to have it. Consumers have a a lot more options than before ... Look how Dcuo is doing in on the pc and soon it will be the same on the ps with more enticing options. Aside from consumers getting the most for their money. Costumer service plays a great part in how consumers spend and brand loyalty. Dcuo has piss poor customer service even as low down as offering costumer service vouches once per month only to already paying customers.

Consumers have the power. If you deal with whatever a corp. decides to treat you without a second thought. Maybe you are one of "those" that are born every minute.

The standard (which was slightly altered last year) is that we get 2 50% sales a year, one during the Summer event in July and the other during the Winter event in December.

Now last year they change the winter sale to a 12 days of Christmas sale, they also did some stuff for Black Friday that wasn't the norm.


This BONUS (its not really a sale) is just a special thing for Members that DBG wanted to give as a kind gesture, nothing more. Of course people's reading comprehension mixed with the usual marketing wording of the announcement is allowing people to make their own conclusions about this, which aren't even close to reality.
