Is it possible to see the changes of other allies? They all have a duration of 1 min and a CD of 3 min? And what about the collision system? In general, I'm not sure that I like the changes to the allies system (I especially don't like the elimination of the middle tier of allies)...

Yea I don't like how the allies stay out longer ever though they will do 2 burst moves. We have mechanics in the game that makes this a massive nerf due to bosses with combat lock mechanics. This means you had to time your ally before using it. With this update your pretty much screwed out of dmg all together lmao.

I was hoping they would have said ok we messed up hard so here's 3 more passive slots for allies. Or 3 more artifact slots whichever makes more money. maybe 1 more art slot and 2 ally passive slots for the massive nerf coming.

I guess we'll have to wait and see how this actually turns out before complaining

I'm sorry, I could only show Superboy. Collision is not a problem since the update they did.

I don't think I like it. (Except the Cross-Faction grouping and 2x Favor drops)

MASSIVE nerf to Rage, since Allies will deal their damage over 10xBerserk.

Seems like a big nerf to Krypto. He already tends to prefer eating adds if there's any around.

Pretty big buff to Shazam I guess. He takes forever to stumble in, announce his arrival, then wonder why I called him when all the enemies are already dead. Not using Shazam as Passive feels like a waste of Favor/Alliances tho. Except maybe on my 2-3 Toons that had him maxed before Starfire+Stewart existed.

The real rework on Allies I'd like to see would be the ability to empty them for Favor. Nubia keeps laughing at me every time I log Jade. Lose 50% almost always, full refund during 2x Favor drops.
  6. Multiverse What time is it? Game time.

Sadly.... that will have to wait for Tuesday it seems.

it seems you didn't lose anything by leaving the league(although judging by the video you did get access back to the test server...)... the developers seem to have a persistent allergy to communication with players, to such an extent that even for select members of the league they dose out information like Scrooge McDuck money...

I don't have access to the test server... this was the last footage I recorded before leaving the League.

The End of an Era. ;) ;)

As for Communication.... at this point we pretty much have to accept that this is how it's going to be from this point forward.
So all we can do is adapt to how things are now.

The early info to the Creator League is just a sneak peek. The actual announcement always comes from the team. We just get to share a look at it a few days earlier. I think it's better to give info to the community (by the way, i gave them a lot of feedback on what kind of information should be included, so we will see when the article is out)
Rather than have everyone finding out same day with no time at all to prepare themselves.

Those Whom Embrace Change vs Those Whom Are Stuck In The Past: Round whatever this is now... FIGHT!

In all seriousness though, we have cross faction grouping now so there has to be something else to complain about. And since they don't have obsidianchill to tell them anything about objective numbers, they're just formulating hypothetical opinions that are then projected as objective fact.

Settle down, quiet down, and wait for the ability to actually use them yourselves instead of spreading pre-release doom and gloom. It's a symptom you're done with the game but can't come to terms with it.

"I'm not sure I like" isn't doom and gloom. It's healthy skepticism.

Seems more like "Obviously is a Pollyanna for the Game: Round Whatever".

This to me is weird. It should not be a sneak peak for you guys. You should get all the information in the update and be used as a megaphone to share all the upcoming updates as the patch notes state. The announcement on websites for the update should include the same information as a back up for those who may not follow the youtube space/creators as a whole.

Exactly this. You guys should be giving all the information, going into detail about the update in ways the announcement shouldn't due to players not wanting to read everything and would rather listen to it/see it in person.

How is it a massive nerf? Boss combat lock mechanics occur in an absolute minority of Content, and Allies were already subject to timing issues there. Now, with (for example) Amon Sur's shield, you have a chance for either the first or the second burst to hit, and possibly both, depending on whether the first lands, or you clear his shield fast enough. whereas before you could miss completely if your timing was off.

Your worst-case scenario is almost never going to happen, as it requires a perfect storm of bad timing and bad decisions. And half of that is under your control.

How have they messed up hard?
  17. DeitySupreme Unwavering Player

It can “potentially” be a loss under very specific circumstances but will normally be an increase.

Some things to keep an eye on would be:
When they are summoned will they automatically do their first ability or will they wait to do it? It’s bad if they wait to do it because being able to spawn them when you actually need them for burn checks is a key use for these allies. So I hope the first cast of the ability still happens upon summoning them. And then the second one can happen at any point when they are out.

Will the damage if these abilities be changed based on them being able to be cast twice and they will be fighting with us.

Also Judging by the video, the allies still function as they would now.
Call them in > The do their burst attack > Now they just linger and act as any other pet.

To be fair, removing Epic only affects 3 Allies - Zoom, Cyborg and Flash. I'm still not a fan myself, though - andCyborg in particular is still occasionally used to address Power issues. Unless the three of them get a significant upgrade to their Passives, the change is going to be somewhat unpalatable.
  20. Great Architect Loyal Player

Exactly - you'd have to be either very unlucky, or have bad situational awareness for it to be a damage loss overall.

But one Ally that does suffer from this already is Constantine, who takes so long to bother to turn up that he's often not laying his field where you want him to (in fact, it's hard to judge where it will appear anyway), or when it's going to be effective. I hope they address his lackadaisical tardiness, even if it is completely in character.

They said their intention was to amp Allies up, so I'd be surprised if they heavily reduced the Combat Damage, if at all, for either of the hits.
