I mean why not? It only makes sense. It might even reduce the problems of the broker. Just a suggestion. You can make each Rare Collection cost a special kind of mark, or just keep it marks of Victory. What do you think?
That would actually ruin the point of the broker andrunning out to get the collections. Plus, they would probably overprice the collections anyway.
It would make for an interesting membership perk if an exclusive type of mark dropped from all content for members that could be used an an exclusive vendor for things like that.
This would only fix the current problems of the broker. Players cannot charge hundreds of millions of dollars for one collection piece. If the player is willing to put the time in, they can farm and collect the piece. Without feeding the current broker system
But then the people who already got them through grinding/paying broker will yell and scream, "Not Fair!"
The thing is that the rare style has untradable styles, so you can only get it from instances or the vendor. On the other hand, collections are tradable and can be acquired from the broker. In a sense, the broker is rare collection vendor. But I do like the idea, it would make my life so much easier.
The rarity of the collections is beyond frustrating at this point, let alone the progression associated with them.
I had all of the styles collected before the style vendor arrived. I got over it... so will the billionaires
I agree with you. Just trying to make life less frustrating. The broker prices are outrageous and unacceptable. Only a select few dictate the whole broker due to money glitches of the past. Don’t get me started on gold sellers. This might even eliminate most of those non sense
I dont like it. I finally got my Wizardly set because i went out and did some grinding for collections (i think it was the waist that you get from the collection). I actually earned it and my Scarecow sac. Right now I am F2P because I cant afford my sub and grinding collections and marks for styles i missed is pretty much all i can do CR 189 Some of the collections are pretty easy like the one you get from the open world on E3. I know i can get that collection in an hour to hour and a half because ive done it a couple times for league mates. Then there are collections that are time consuming like the one in Robinson Park. I got it but it took a while doing laps in that park to find the last one. There are collctions that are hard ...Centennial anyone.. it just doesnt drop that often and it can be anywhere over a large area. Then there are those that are punishing. Right now I am doing the 4 on Arkham Island. I can handle the question marks having a low drop rate. I can handle them appearing in different places each time I can handle that finding a node in the same spot can be from a different collection this time. I can handle some of the items rarely dropping. I can handle them being spread over a large area. But when you combine all of that into the one area it isn't hard It is PUNISHING. I can grind there for an hour and collect maybe 10 nodes if im lucky (i konw over 20 spawn locations). If im really lucky one of those will be from the roughly half of the collections i dont have. You want to do something about the collections dont make it so people can farm marks and buy them but do increase the drop rate of some of the collections and decrease the rarity of some of the items form them.
I agree, we need a rare collection vendor. I try to earn them myself but the rng is so bad, I never see or get any of them. The broker, forget about it, not even worth the money. To many I need, even now, I can't even afford to buy one. Or at least if the devs rotate the collection, so each month or so, each piece has a chance to drop or do something. I understand, mmos are about the grind but no to the point you pulling your hair out.
