Is the Shroud of Anubis still Villains-only? Can the Style be unlocked for Heroes?

You can unlock it with style unlock 4 rb a piece but a villain has to have it first. And you can also get it in lock boxes. I suck at pvp but got almost all pvp styles thanks to lock boxes and 4 demonic tails

To get it as Heroes you can:
    1. Obtain through Promethium Lockboxes based you your luck.
    2. Unlock it if you have the pieces on your alternate villain toon. Each piece costs 4 replay badges to unlock.
Please note you can no longer obtain the set through Vending Unit 00 as a pure style version. Felix's vendor is the only option.

Edit: Too late to the party! Would like to see the boxes comment streak continue though lol

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the info!
As for Promethium LBs, so far the best Egyptian-related items I've gotten are the decos. I pass on "Egyptian" Style pieces as I get those from loot & Vault drops.

Problem: I took a Villain to the Felix Faust Vendor in the Hall of Doom's Magic Wing to chk pricing info, and the Shroud's pieces were not listed.
Does anyone know why? Was it moved or merely locked behind some level of pvp requirements?
the wiki says the set is T1 PvP...

It drops in prom boxes but if you want to get the full set you may have to sacrifice a goat and two lambs.

A long time ago to "streamline" the leveling they removed different pvp sets and just put them as styles in Requisition-V-STYL located in the magic wing near R&D station. They are 800 marks of valor a piece. So it would cost you 6400 marks of valor for the full style

It is on there, IIRC - but you do need to bump your PvP CR to get access to it - bottom rung is Avatar Bombardier, I think you can start picking up Aeronaut at 25+ PvP CR, etc.

Good luck with getting it from anywhere, though, other than Prom boxes - the purchase prices for PvP Gear are ridiculous - largely still tied to the old pricing when you'd get hundreds to thousands of MoV for the latest content, and MoT were set at similar levels.

Probably the most useful thing that could be done to revitalise PvP is to drop the prices on the Vendor Gear, scrap the auto-CR buff you get when entering PvP content, and have people playing it again. If DB want to monetise PvP, it has to exist first.

Thank you! It is there, as are other styles I am interested in!
Side note on Promethium Lock Boxes; since I have subbed, I seem to be getting them less than when I wasn't subbed. Is that normal?
    Is that right?
Next Question is, how does one who doesn't do pvp, get started in pvp and earning pvp Marks?

As mazahs said you just to jump in head first and take the losses. Except for bases as it rewards less marks so the grind will be longer. Also try legends

I did you worse since I thought it was a PvE suit and started this mess lol

Just go right into Lpvp. There's no way for a newbie to gain anything from doing the reg ver.
In that case I suggest start with Batman and maybe buy other characters if it strikes your fancy. Be aware of the map's objective (Death Match/ Node holding/ Node transforming) and you'll do fine.

Here are some threads that might be outdated in some respects but still helpful to get started:

Thanks! Well now I have a game plan (or at least the beginnings of one)!
So I guess i'll see how well I can balance my usual play (pve content & levelling) and grinding Lpvp. ;)
Target now is 6400 x2 = 12,800 Marks of Valor, as my villain needs the Phantom Zone Reaver, while SoA is fo my main Magic hero.
