Should we remove loot locks from Legends PVE?

We don't have any restrictions in running Legends PVP, and as far as I know, the 5 MarksOfLegend that we get is about the same rate as we would if we earned the marks via Legends PvP.
Why is there a restriction on Legends PVE if it's all the same anyways?

Prob loot locked for the minimal chance at base items. Bleh.

Unlock these please.

I've been avoiding PVE Legends, not for any particular reason, it just hasn't fit with my routine. One of the reasons is actually this, as I thought it already didn't have loot locks until I tried it. I could've sworn someone said it was a problem with the PVE coding last time it was brought up.

The fact that its locked and the fact that someone out there is resetting it gives more reason for devs not to unlock it.

But seriously this needs to be fixed in difficulty first then unlocked.

I suggested this before the first one went live when the marks were the only reward. I made the point that since marks were the only reward there was no reason whatsoever to put a lock on it since people replaying for feats wouldn't bother resetting it, and that if there were style or base item rewards then I'd understand the locks. Then boom! Couple of days later base items were added to the rewards.

You must've been unlucky..I got base item on first run and assumed that was the norm....(doh)

Huh? I'm talking about when I ran the first legends PVE on the test server before base items were even added. The first time I ran it the only reward in the loot table were marks of legend.

Not completely but I think 1 or 2 MOL upon completion is reasonable.

Something that has really started to annoy me, is that is has been DAYS since I last saw a piece of furniture drop from Legends PvE. I only get the marks. I'm a furniture hunter, dammit!

It's a money ploy since I gather that most people that reset pve legends are people that need the marks, ergo people who don't pvp much.

If Legends PVE is loot locked because of base items then take them out!!! I’m pretty sure they won’t be missed much…

Actually pvp is still the fastest way to get MOL. I would like it to be without loot lock as well, or at least increase the amount of marks.

I had thought on this as well. Sure people have reset it now since its been out. I myself reset it a few times because I needed atrocitous for the checklist feat. I felt that while I was getting the other fess I could also work towards getting the means to get the other. Saved me a bit of time. I wouldn't be upset if they remove the loot locks. Especially if they do it in a different future Legends PVE event. They've added things before that wouldve upset people for a similar reason. For example using replay badges to buy previously aquired feats. People spent time getting those feats on their alts. that being added upset a few people I know. Though they spent time rather than money in that exanple but time IS something you can't get back.
