I want to show you my Base, but first I want to thank Zoe for telling me about Ryll and especially Ryll for making this great video. I hope you like them Add: if any developer sees this please add space for more objects, I still have empty spaces
I created this base back in the winter ... but the video is only now ... there is absolutely no time for the DCUO ... The base was inspired by my favorite military fantasy authors: Glen Cook and his Black Company and the Empire of Terror, Steven Erikson and the Malazan Empire series and his Bridge Burners, Ian C. Esslemont and the Crimson Guard... from each of them, I took something ... mixed ... and created a Garrison ... The Garrison is a "fortress-prison" at the crossroads of worlds....where the powerful tyrants of ancient (but not only ancient...) times are imprisoned (what at first glance looks like a treasury...in fact, the hall where the ancients and incredibly powerful creatures are immersed in stasis (some of them were even worshiped as gods) while the staff of the garrison are people (and not only ...), due to the oath taken upon themselves, they became undying eternal warriors ... (each of the warriors after death eventually returns to the garrison in one form or another...)...
Glad Ryll did a tour for you!! This looks great. I have time to decorate personally just need a good seasonal and ideas lol
If you haven't subscribed to the Base Crafters YouTube Channel yet and submitted your bases to be toured on our show, here is your chance; https://www.youtube.com/@DCbasecrafters (Submitting bases is free, but only one will be showcased on one episode. Previously, this was my Enchanted Palace on my Phoenix character: Now... the rework has begun. Sneak peek>>
So, this is probably one of the oddest bases I've decorated. I wasn't quite sure how this project would turn out when I started it over the holidays but not only am I really happy with the results, it ended up being a super fun, enjoyable build as well! Enjoy this tour of a base created and crafted around DCUO community member and Elite Sixteen co-founder Pandavil in his new digs that inspired the current Base Off called The Panda Pad! Tour starts around the 3:00 mark
In game, the new shade barrier looks very nice as the front of a holding cell. …. Untitled by Michael Kramer, on Flickr (I might need some taller side walls though)
i Still working on this base! My manor themed one I’m Almost done, first picture is the Entrance and second is my shrine room to Hera
I super love these. Really wish the SHADE logo was changeable to emblems or non-existent but I'll take what I can get. Ryll mentioned this, but one of the wings on the holo is actually sticking out a bit from the side, like a mirror image. You can see it if you look reeeeally carefully over the third line on the right. XD
