Superman's 80th Celebration: Breaking News

Action Comics #1000 releases today, so we are kicking off our celebration of Superman’s 80th anniversary in DCUO with a special gift. All players will receive a Daily Planet Vending Machine for your base, so you can keep up with any news as it breaks.

Be sure to interact with it each week for the next seven weeks to check the latest news headlines from Metropolis’ greatest paper! We have a hunch the reporters there are going to be really busy for a while. The Daily Planet Vending Machine is available in the “Redeem/Claim” tab of the Marketplace menu.

Starro Central City and Solo Story Mission

• Controlled Flash will continue to fight reinforcements until the associated rogue cell door is opened by the player.
• Controlled Flash should start to regenerate between the phases of Weather Wizard and Captain Cold being freed from their cells.
• If Controlled Flash gets defeated before Captain Cold escapes, a backup mechanic will now open the cell doors and free the rogues before starting the final matinee in the CCPD.
• Added new icon for the skip matinee monitors

Stemming the Tide (Event)

• Completing this mission now grants 1 Atlantean Crown.

Welcome Screen

• Players can now Warp to Deluge directly from the Welcome Screen.

On-Duty Menu (Normal & Elite)

• All of the Deluge On-Duty missions are Tier 9.

Marketplace

• Krypto is now available on the Marketplace.
