Downtime Server Downtime - Wednesday June 26, 2024 at 6:00am PT

All worlds will be taken offline at 6AM PT on June 26, 2024, to launch Game Update 145. Downtime may last up to 8 hours.

This update will not include the upcoming Booster Bundle or Tides of War Summer event, which will arrive 7/2/24.

Downtime 8h middle of the week no summer event who is on test for over 40 days now really disappointing and now tell us it will only happen in a week.. seriously this is so sad

So will we have downtime next week for the Summer seasonal on Tuesday July 2 as well? If so that’s a lot of downtime in a weekly period so couldn’t you all at Daybreak coordinate this better? Cmon now?

Does this update include the new artifacts?

The Game update itself will launch on that day - Just not the event and Booster Bundle.

There will be no downtime. Thats the reason they push it out now, so all players can access the event on said date as announced and not wait until the downtime is over.

Also, considering that this game update is supposed to fix the HoD alert (completely or partially), I assume anyone who still plays that content wants this update rather sooner than later.

Yeah usually as how updates go but Kikumod said this Wednesday update won’t include the Summer seasonal or Booster Bundles so we still have to download them next week. Maybe that won’t take 8 hours of downtime but I guess that depends on how big that next week update will be too. There’s basically an update this week Wednesday AND an update Tuesday too.

To my understanding, Kikumod said the "update" won't include those without mentioning if they'd be installed via the download to go live on the 2nd. Seems to be what's being said in the post you quoted as well. Makes sense and fits the usual pattern that there won't be 2 big d/l in successive weeks... but if you're right, yikes...

Will get a live stream of the booster bundle?

Will this downtime and game update roll out for the switch at the same time as pc, ps and xbox or are we looking at the same situation that happens for most updates, where switch users have to wait a bit longer for the update?

Edit: I know it says all worlds, but the countless times we are told all worlds will be down for the update, and next thing we are the update on switch will happen like a week later

Think it was a accident

The Live Update Notes say that it fixes two major gripes people have had - Sunstone Base Armoury display and... the Lighstream Movement Modes VFX (finally ).

Remember when we used to get a red warning banner at the top of the forums letting us know, at a glance, if the game was down for work?

Yeah imagine my confusion when I did not see a red warning indicating that maintenance was going on or anything like that. It seems like they are getting worse and worse day by day.
