Downtime Server Downtime - May 6, 2015 - Game Update 47!

pay up for replay badges? for mainframes? im not picking a fight, i'm only 6 months into the game, and just now really understanding things. I really like this game, and would like a better understanding of why people who have played a long time would see this update as a corporate finger... cuz i dont like corporate fingers

No, it means you can't farm them. You get to play them once and that's it.

Uh...you DO realize that downtime is something you agreed to in the ToC for this game and that without it you'll not have a working game TO play properly right? Also, there is a routine schedule that they have, and it's usually quite early Pacific time. Now, I live in the Eastern time zone, so it's around 8 for me, but honestly, you can't please everyone. It's a game update and routine server maintenancethat they are doing here bro. If you have a problem with an MMO going down for bringing down the game for maintenance, a game update, etc...well, then all I can tell you is to not play them. You're gonna find that wherever you go, in any MMO.

Oh, and if you want to complain about a game's downtime and when they take the dame down, and as to how frequent it is...try playing a game run by Cryptic. WEEKLY downtime and that occurs midday. And you know what? Their timing for them might be something to be desired, BUT THEIR GAMES RUN VERY SMOOTHLY AS A RESULT.

May I ask why you think higher players still won't be seen in lower instances? Has any t6 players here really ever ran stuff like Strikers or Ace Chems for marks? It's always for styles.So I honestly don't see how this will change most instances.You'll still see higher players trying to grab an Iconic style or a feat style lol.

Not sure what mixed messages. It went down 5 AM Pacific Time, and it would be down for up to 10 hours. Anything else not from Mepps is just speculation from trolls. It's not that hard to convert to your time zone and count 10 hours.

I play on USPC, and I thought I was told only 8, but I was mistaken, and misread that. My bad, but thanks for that information anyway!

Couldn't they have set up a new settings,(like the enable role choice optional) where you can chose to not be grouped with high lvl players in alerts, instead of all this? Yeah sometimes I do like to hop on an alt and take my time with other low lvl players but there are times i would rather a high lvl player just get me through it. I think that way would have made everyone happy.
I know that players COULD take gear off and be op in them but i'm sure they could nerf those types some how if they were in a set for low lvl players alert.

Not waiting 3 hours but doing the raid for 3 hours. I don't mind, well 3 hours is exagerated too but what I'm glad is I will enjoy every tiers without a high players leaving everyone behind, killing everything before i can use any powers, not really fun and we don't need that. In T6 you don't get help from a T7-T8 playersbecause it doesn't exist yet and I never had more fun in this game than in T6. They all work as a team withg all roles. That's what i want to see throughout the whole game.

That's actually interesting as due to a recent spam run here on the forums, those who hadn't signed onto the game shouldn't be able to post to the forums.

I do hope someone on staff sees this and double checks their settings.

Could have made your group of cr range players for w/e you wanted to run, but instead of taking your time to get players like you who wanted to experience the content, you and/or players like you came to the forums and complained, because players in a que didn't play like you thought they should

yep that needed to be thought about i don't run t 2 t3 for the 2 MOT lol ! i run it for the style because yes i pay the 70 marks in the vendor but it take a min to save 70 marks . only way is to really lower the rare style vendor !
