Wait, hold up, it says the US is up, but locked. So there are players on right now? If true that is totally unfair from a broker perspective. That's a huge advantage to sell new stuff right away before the prices in the market crash.

It means the patch has been uploaded and the world has spent the 30mins it takes to get up. The only people on are Devs.
If they find the game to be in a state resembling playable, then they will open it. If not, then it takes 30mins to get it down, 15-30mins to upload a new patch, 30mins to get the server back up followed by another round of quick testing in Locked state.

Yes, but it also shows the status is up as of 2 hours ago. Population locked to me means they let some people on, then locked it to make sure it's gonna run ok. I may be reading too much into it, but that's just how I take the presented info.

I always took it as the developers/testers had access, but players did not have access.

And by testers, I mean testers employed by the company, not the players who also test.

Your imagination is getting the better of you. Calm down. The servers are locked for everyone. That means nobody but the devs can gain access.

Well I hope that's the case. I know in the past there's been times when I get on, and am playing while leaguemates are texting me on my phone saying that it shows the game is down for maintenance and they can't get on. I stayed on there for quite a while, log off naturally, then couldn't log back on.

Lmao, how is it that "crazy" that they would use a control group? I mean, it makes sense from the devs point of view, but it sucks for those not on.
