I might be wrong but I don't think they maintain their own servers, didn't SOE sell the servers to a third party company back in the day when they removed the ability to choose EU or US and when there was so many servers to choose from like World of Heroes server etc. Etc.


If I log onto my PS account I'm pretty sure my characters still have the world names lol

Gurl...lord only knows they are trying, between lunch breaks and their 15 minute breaks, I bet they even have those smokes who takes extra breaks!

A few years ago European PC customer were moved to ProSiebenSat.1 Games for account management, but the game was still run by SOE. After a year or two all our accounts reverted back to SOE. We were always able to choose between EU and US servers, nothing ever changed affecting that.

Well that was a mistake... As it shows.

95% of the time the game is up within 4 hours. It is very very rare that it actually takes the 8 hours and even rarer that it will go on for longer.

That was back at the start of the game when there were several small servers. They were all combined into a megaserver each for EU and US. No servers were ever sold to anyone.

I'm in the US, I'm talking about back around original launch when you actually used the screen that's now the Catwoman screen to choose from a huge list of servers or worlds that all had different names, im not sure if any were user created or if they were all official

Not really just a piece of mistaken info, which can happen easy when the servers arnt/haven't always been in the same building


One of the reasons I thought it was one of my last active times on dc on pc the game was down for a few days due to the fact that the people where the servers are were on vacation while the dc dev team was not and we were forced to deal with it till someone was able to go reset the server

May have been the result of a ddos attack I don't remember what caused it
