Is there going to be anything for legendary members ? It's one thing to let people who don't pay play everything but at the very least legendary should get something too because we pay a monthly membership.

I pay to play, but if they giving away a free month might as we'll enjoy it, so don't act as if just people who don't pay will benefit from this update

i'm confuse on what is the live stream for? if we could get a little more detail on that would be awesome, if not i"ll still watch tomorrow. *Sets Alarm clock*

If you pay your not benefitting in anyway from this you wont get any better drops or increased chances at OP gear.

That's only if you don't consider queue times coming waaaaay down as 'not benefitting in anyway'.

Take advantage in the same way the FTP players will... Use the opportunity to run more content more often. THAT increases your chances of getting OP drops as much as anything.

Of course if you feel you aren't getting value for your money, you can always cancel membership and go back to premium...

queue times? really? That is your idea of a subscriber benefit? What?

I'm just saying it would be nice if the devs maybe though for a second "hey these guys are paying for legendary so maybe we can and should do something for them too while were giving a month of free content to people who don't support the game every month ".

It's very, very simple. If you don't feel you don't get benefit for subscribing, don't subscribe. Why do people feel they need additional benfit?

like a "subscribe for the month of August and receive x and x as a bonus" type of subscriber perk.

Other games do these types of promos.

What about people who already paid because they didn't know when this was happening? Oh well right? As long as you and all the other cheerleaders are happy then who cares about the others.

I agree, if you are going to give the free players something special then how about everyone else? I get WHY it is happening. It is a big marketing plan. By allowing free access to all episodes for a short period of time, free players will be encouraged to buy legendary and continue. But that isn't really fair. You are more worried about everyone else paying that you aren't focusing on the people who already play. So either make this ENTIRELY free to play or change the priorities of who you should accommodate more.

You/we (hopefully) get more players to participate in content that currently has slow popping queues. It's.... something, you may save some time that way

Splendid idea with the Open Episodes concept. It's like my belief that all content should (and could) be free but done in a more realistic way that re-purposes the much loathed replay badge product to a much, MUCH bigger demographic than the end game player who is spending an excessive amount of replay badges to own a complete set of Elite gear and every Omnipotence item. An incredibly small niche. It also preserves the integrity of membership (something my vision of free content for all didn't). Perhaps this change could allow for wiggle room in the end game so that the best gear can be obtained by a fair, legitimate and non-random method.

Any word on whether this could potentially be rolled out permanently? Or is it always going to be a time-limited idea I think it'd be a great addition to the game. If not for converting newbies to long term, established players then for the benefit of encouraging those who are disgruntled or have moved on from DCUO, the opportunity to come back without having to put any money down immediately to try out the new content.

I'll be getting the word out to friends who are now former players that if they're interested in checking the game out again, July/August is the month to do it.

It is also worth noting that Legendary already enjoys those benefits. The previous poster's point is valid - Legendary isn't really getting anything out of this.

The thing is legendary players aren't getting anything more then what we get now meanwhile people who don't pay a subscription or even pay for a dlc get access to everything without paying anything to support the game.
