Server Downtime and SOE Maintenance - July 2, 2014

yeah so.......i brought the amazon fury dlc last week, not a membership, and i have no access to this dlc

Looks like i learned something new.

I understand things happen, I'm not mad i get it but it sucks..

I understand your frustration......but even more frustrating are the people who cant seem to understand why people are so upset. This game goes through hot fixes and updates and is supposed to be tested prior to release. For paid subscriptions that charge on a time basis this is not acceptable. And anyone with a paid subscription has a right to complain.

It's a valid question, knowing dcuo I would expect it to be something you have to pay to get back

I was fuming and was told to relax by someone who clearly doesn't pay for their membership, We really don't have a choice but to wait and i get that complaining and annoying the worker bee's won't help but we do have the right to be as upset as we want to.

For deactivating I understand, if you don't know what deleted means you shouldn't be on the internet. If you delete something it's gone, and if you deactivate something it means it's there but you can't use it. It's not hard to comprehend if you paid attention in school. Hell, not even in school. A 4 year old should know the difference.

My first "sick day" was when the Home Turf DLC came out. I woke up early and tried to get on and kept getting kicked off, then they had to do a hot fix. I didn't get to play at all that day.

Tried a couple of more times after that and, though it wasn't related to a DLC, it was either sony was down or there were issues with the servers. Not blaming DCUO or Sony, I'm just doomed that way.

I have not been able to log in the game at all today, still waiting the migration to happen. and it seems im not going to get in game today before i go sleep due it to be 8pm already.

I in fact had a chat about an online Mickey Mouse game with my nephew this morning about it being deleted and asked him if he understood and he said " It's gone"

Can I still make purchases for my account rite now even though legendary is down and will they stay after this bug is fixed?

We absolutely have the right to be upset but not just because of this issue....also because it appears as if the devs cater to the desires of one particular forum and one particular mode (figure it out). People who say dont complain either have a boatload of cash to waste on this or dont have legendary. Simply put...wanna get the devs to make sure this crap is ready before its release? FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO PLAY!!!...nothing makes a louder statement than a decline in profits from membership loss. W.O.W is good....Elder scrolls is also good...and there are several other games out there that dont have this issue.

Its times like this I wish I purchased more DLC instead of membership, but ^^THAT^^ sucks if this issue is making those extra purchases unavailable, too. Like when I logged in ever so briefly and found my inventory overloaded again...I was pretty sure I had enough "purchased" additional slots, aside from the legendary ones, to compensate...this was on an alt so I wasn't paying that close attention to how full it was this morning. I haven't logged in again on anyone else until there's a fix for fear of losing bank or inventory items, and/or just wasting time having to juggle crap just to play limited content. Time to lighten the proverbial load again...I already have an alt that is just inventory space at the moment, time to load up another.

True, but considering it might be a Sony issue as they are undergoing maintenance, testing on DCUO servers may not have picked up on a sony issue. Plus, I think there's a transfer of another type of server over to SOE servers and this might be causing problems.

I'm not crazy about not getting on either, especially since it took me almost 2 days to download on ps4 (which is not the improvement they promised) and when I tried to log in this morning I find I am no longer legendary.

I'm trying to focus on the fact that they are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it. The good news is. if there can be any, it's a wide spread problem, not limited to just a few people, so it makes them want to do something about it quicker.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough cheese doodles in the world to make me feel better.

Btw it's now 19:06 here in holland and 10:06 PT... that's more then 5 hours.. it's alway's in the prime time of european players... people come home from work, and get this sh*t in game update weeks and maintenance windows... So keep your preaches to yourself, players in the us have no problems except those in wellfare.

Try a game called real life hear they add new stuff everyday lol stop whining this hasnt happened since we all started so go let sunsine hit those pale faces of yours. It may be uncomfortable but I promise fresh air doesnt kill
