I have been the only one on whole teams who did mechanics...desperately trying to advance whatever...had the team wipe...because some missions if you dont do mechanics even 160s inevitably wipe...then been kicked off the team even though I was the only one actually making things work...because I was the lowest DPS...something about me fooling around with crap instead of just mindlessly burning everything with max damage...

Bingo Bucko! It is not supposed to be run by four DiPS, but a proper group with at least one tank to keep AquaDork or Orange Roughy in the middle and at least two characters on the outside to tag the Cogs and the turrets

This is my least favorite seasonal the marks you get are just too few and the content just isn't fun.

no the event is utter trash the stupid mutineer borders and the absolute bs of the instance such as all 50 mutineers attacking me as 1 out of 4 dps. but of course who cares right? i mean naturally a dam SEASONAL EVENT SHOULD BE AKIN TO TORTURE. oh not to mention the braindead community of worthless scrubs who constantly f it up every time and only getting 5 marks a day when all 3 styles let alone old ones are 8 marks a piece. quite frankly i want to skin these sadist devs alive and drink their blood just call it natural selection. oh and the worst thing about it is the event used to be fine they all did but ooooooooh noooooooooooo buncha masochists had to ball saying they wanted it harder. newsflash it's a SEASONAL EVENT! wtf do you people want them to be more tedious than any dam raid in the whole game? lnw fos 2 bn bd pb none of them as ridiculously mind numbing as these events. you wanna know why i don't buy dlc anymore? because these devs care more about money than even one pint of fun and cyberstep with onigiri is even worse. i'm fine with challenge but ffs even darksouls can be fun but going in getting nerfed to hell and getting killed in 4 hits is NOT FUN. oh and unlike all the pions who say the event is fine my IQ is well above average. meanwhile all the braindead scrubs who can't watch out for giant black books or block when the skull pops up or can't grab nodes just gotta keep wasting MY time. day in and day out. screw this and all the other events especially summer valentines and spring.

Have you maybe tried using the LFG channel for something other than talking trash? Or simply /shout?

It's possible for all 3 movement modes to hit 2 switches, but SS & flight slow down on a hit. If you get hit mid-grappling hook, you still continue to zip along. It's a small detail though because you're less likely to get hit at supersonic. It's also a comfort level thing. Almost all of my toons are acro. I have a few flight and only one SS.

That's sarcasm...right? I was at the Watchtower and a player was shouting for help with the Atlantean Outpost mission. And of course no one was answering. I sighed and said I would help. I asked him what his CR level was. Was like 18. The other players we got paired up with were about the same level as well. Which was probably the root of our problem.

I was like wow...this is going to be difficult. Since my alt is nerfed to a level 34. Tried to heal the rest of the group, keep them alive. But ran out of power pretty damn quick. Playing dps didn't seem to make that much of a difference. Still got overwhelmed and pummeled by Atlantean goons. Beaten and ko'd on the floor, I said I need...those...2 sand dollars! We left, said ah screw it. lol.

have you maybe tried not insulting people when providing advice? i have never used lfg to talk trash on this account or any other account. maybe you should use the forums to provide real advice instead of talking trash in your posts.

A lot of people use the on duty queue system. I guarantee you more people pug than form groups. So people really need to stop using this as an excuse to having poor groups because you can form your own group and have a just as ****** experience. People need to stop using that as an excuse because it's just petty and belligerent. Stop attacking the pug community. It exists everywhere and more frequently than your formed groups.

Now that we see pugging for as it is, the seasonal does need to be balanced. If people don't want to help others that's fine because they don't have to share their compassion or kindness if they do not want to. That's how the world works and as you can see, seems pretty fine...

If players cant do the mechanics, they need to be told what to do. If the players clearly can't do that, then the Devs need to step in and do it. It is their job, they govern this game am I correct? Of course! So they need to fix the problems people have because seasonal threads are becoming more frequent, more violent, and excessive.

umm no if i recall that was before the whole stat clamp as i said i hate stat clamping so badly i can't even remember how long ago it was but i recall 3 years ago we still had normal seasonals that were only hard because of getting everyone to learn mechanics. but now if you aren't a skilled 34 plus player you'll be dead in seconds. i'm fine with doing less damage but having even the turrets take us down in a few hits is just utterly stupid.

i do not mind the turret damage. the point is to activate the turrets so they are on our side. the adds are the issue. how is a group supposed to activate all four turrets when the adds kill us before we are done with one?

especially when we get interuppted but if an add touches a turret we can't interupt them back seriously these devs are sadistic morons the whole lot of em except maybe the area design but that's just me being nice cause even they f up. remember the wall in td? fixed in a couple weeks or so but the powers overiding? anyone remember? oh yah 50 updates to fix the biggest flaw the game had since launch.

Players need to conform to the game mechanics. The developers cannot cater to everyone's specific deficiencies. They can't help players that don't use sufficient hardware, they can't help it players won't use common sense and turn a cog which is in the content leading up to level 10. They can't help when players refuse to block to bring their health back up. They can't help it when players won't listen to other players who try to help them.

This whole idea that the devs need to make this brain dead content anymore so than it is, is ridiculous. If you can't make it through on a level 10 toon then maybe you should start asking some questions and find out why instead of making your deficiencies everyone else's problem?

It isn't broken, it doesn't need fixed, it doesn't need changed.
