    Devs explained last year's difficulty LAST YEAR. Which was NOT harder. I'm calling on devs to either look into or explain THIS YEAR. You didn't run on a level 11 alt last year. I did (see previous post). I found it challenging but not the unbeatable disaster that this year is. And you don't close the discussion. Devs do.

    Devs closed the discussion and said there not responding to any more post about it. And low level beat when it was harder last year. I'm not telling its end of discussion. I'm telling you that the Devs said this is end of discussion. Ur just beating a dead horse point blank period. Find the link for yourself. THEY SAID THEY"RE NOT CHANGING IT

    I think the seasonal is totally fine. I ran it on four post 30 characters (no wipes) and one pre 30 character (had been going on a long time when I joined) but we were able to complete it after I hopped on my mic and explained the fight. We also got the Full Net feat which was pretty fun.

    EDIT: pre 30 group was one dps, two tanks, and a healer (me)

    i looked in the staff post tracker. i found no mention of the seasonal other than its release. it is difficult to find a link that does not exist. ;)

    server hotfix on June 25, 2015 shows that they did adjust it.

    So they reduce the health and ur still complaining? This is when Like I said b4 when they was hitting to hard and one shotting ppl. After they adjust it ppl still complain and they said theyer not adusting it any more. Minde you did I not say it was harder last year the 1st week?

    the only fixes that seem to have carried over to this year are the counter mechanics. the too many enemies and bosses doing too much damage seem to have returned.

    i am not sure if boss health is lower or not. they melt quickly with ams.

    Boss health seem lower. All you have to do is turn on the turrets for the add to not be on you so much and use health barrels. It's been one to many thread like this about this Seasonal that a few of them have been locked or removed.
    This event is intended. Two choices for lower player. Know mechanics or get stronger.

    i do not really care whether they adjust it this year. i think not adjusting it might provide interesting data. they can get a better feel for how many players below level 30 completed it over a longer period of time. then they can see how many of those players continued to play compared to last year after the adjustment.

    i joined this game a couple months before the spring seasonal a few years ago. i tried that seasonal once or twice and gave up on it. i still continued to play and gathered experience that allowed me to beat it the following year. not all players who find the seasonals frustrating will quit.

    Looks like the complaints are correct. My earth, pending serums toon that was lingering on the Braniac ship was dusted off and I leveled to 10 to test this out. It looks like players are getting the stats (if you check the stat screen, you'll see green numbers adding additional stats to the right of your base stats), but the CR itself isn't scaling up. I imagine this is causing the CR scale factor to limit your stat gains no matter what, with level 10 players being hit much harder because they are 24 CR points lower than every enemy in the room. As in the video posted earlier, you can see the Atlantean blast spam taking off hundreds per shot. Those particular shots are just tap shots and should be doing far less. (You'd normally be able to eat about 30-40 of them). Come in with a higher level character, and the issue vanishes. Your CR will either be limited to 34, or naturally be within that range, so the additional stat gains attributed for the event start counting, and only then is the baseline difficulty moved into range. And yes, the glowy diver helms are also missing.

    My character is currently a level 10 earth tank, so I was able to activate Brick and test out the damage intake while in tank stance. It was a little more manageable. I also noticed that if a tank (with or without Brick) holds block, they become invulnerable to damage from every mutineer and Ocean Master. A DPS doing the same becomes invulnerable to all attacks but Ocean Masters. I switched back to DPS mode to test this and was able to eat all the Atlantean's shots, but when OM hopped on over, his attacks pierced whatever buff mechanic was preventing damage. Got it on video and waiting for it to upload. In the meantime i'll run another test with a much higher level alt and see how the numbers fluctuate when his gear is enabled and he's scaled down to 34, and when the gear is removed and the CR drops through the floor.

    Note - Characters that are already level 30 are scaled down to level 30 and cannot go any lower. Character's below level 30 are not scaled at all. On my advanced earth tank, wearing nothing dropped me to an equipped CR of 5 (soder still on). Slapped my weapon on and equipped CR rose to 11. Tested that out but was autoscaled to 30 no matter what. My damage intake wasn't anything special as a result of being closer to 34. Compared to my prior toon, big difference. Of course, the total immunity to damage still kicked in when holding block for a few seconds and keeping it down. (shock tanking)

    For over 30, yes absolutely. This year is disgusting easy for my leveled toons.
    However...the lower entry levels are the issue here. The stat screen may SHOW that a buff is there...but it seems that either the buff is just ghost numbers for a buff that isn't there...The instance is auto scaling to obliterate the buffs...or the buffs are just not enough to bring a level 10 to be able to beat an instance that wasn't adjusted for anyone not clamped.
    As for activating turrets and switches to thin adds and damage OM...good luck with that.

    The seasonal is fine it is the players. Players that can't listen to instructions when given them which in turn causes them not to be able to finish the event are either:

    A.) Stupid.
    B.) Stubborn.
    C.) Both A & B.

    I've had a few times where literally the 3 other pugs in the group just stood there and continuously DPS'd even after I informed them what to do.

    This is crazy how sad this is. Players went from wanting to Nerf raids cause it was to hard, to asking for nerfs in heist duo cause it was hard to pug now we talking about seasonal need to be adjusted!!!!!?

    This is EXACTLY why the player base is what it is now. Went in seasonal today that lasted 2min for me but lasted 16 min for the other players cause they wasn't told what to do. Once I explained it. It was easy for them.

    U may not have faith in low level players but I DO!. And lower levels that are willing to listen and learn CAN BEAT IT! Just because u cant don't mean they can't.
    Prime example most OP players can beat Inner Sanctum but if they were within CR content most of them cant and just because they cant does not mean others cant also.

    What a difference 8-9 months of absent makes a difference in the forums. It went from helping ppl who didn't know how to beat thing's and had great ideas for the game to I can't beat it can you please make it easier.
    And it seems to me making things easier is popular by demand since it get the most likes

    Still uploading a 2nd vid. Clarifying that last bit.
    I'm noticing that the stat screen is listing our CR's as adjusted up or down as it should be, but the actual readout on the left of the screen isn't reflecting CR at all, but character level. When I took off all my advanced earth tank's gear, he was capped to 30, his level. When I removed my lowly earth tank's gear (CR 7 when all on), he still read his level on the left of the screen. It's only if you're level 30 and your actual CR is over 34 when you will be downscaled to 34 at full effect.

    I reckon this is an unintended biproduct of the background changes occuring with the pending revamp to the progression system and change/removal of the CR differential. It's currently attempting to combine level and CR, basically, and still doing so while the CR differential is in effect, which has very negative consequences for players further away from that magic number, 34. That's not to say it isn't doable, but it's definitely well above the level of difficulty that a seasonal is intended for, and will almost always require a tank as-is if running with other level 10's who haven't unlocked tons of SP.

    At level 10, chances are extremely high that your group will consist of all dps. It's going to be extremely difficult to clear under those conditions. Probably went under the radar in testing as I believe everybody on the test server is level 30 by default, right?
