Just as an FYI...Flashbacks runs now counts towards the counter feats. And they added more counters for reg and casual.
??? How come we don't get update notes telling us about that?? Or telling us about the upgrade to the Guy Gardner chest style that now supports and emblem?? And More!!!
Would be nice if they made doing elite give a count for normal and casual, and doing normal give a count for casual as well. Not a fan of having to go spam it on a mode that is not usually ran.
Man... I wish we would get extensive patch notes one of these days about updates. It would go a long way to you know, maybe increase player morale...
It's a small update(?) but apparently Omnibus Weekly missions are taken off the Priority menu and are only visible on the Weekly list. That's super annoying to have to go thru a list to see if my alts have finished their Omnibus requirements now.
They'd need a "maps" person for that to let us know. Too bad it ain't in their budget for such a person.
If only they had some sort of "ender game" guy that was just as good at copy/pasting their internal notes, and did so for a year after the overrated "maps" guy was gone. Too bad they.. wait they do have the budget for such a person. How embarrassing.
It was something that was known by a few people (including myself), that were watching the bug report submitted by Curse Bringer. Bug report thread: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/dc...ged-emblem-slot-on-gardner-style-vest.333995/ I know its the forums and things still can be hard to find if not in the "Gotham City" section. I agree, update notes would have been nice. However I'm glad Glitter was willing to take time out of her schedule to breath some life back into that old style. Anyway here's a short I made with it. And so they have confirmed elite not giving progress toward normal and casual is by design... https://forums.daybreakgames.com/dc...hback-stu-seasonal-feats.335119/#post-4678572 Who the hell even runs casual as their daily/weekly lock in for characters who aren't mains?
I checked around to see if there were a way to get the remaining Save the Universe styles that were also dropped in (after I saw this thread) and couldn't find any.
Who runs casual on characters that aren't mains? I would assume most, since not-mains are alts, and most people don't care about their alts. The other answer is people who grind out every new open world bounty feat within 48 hours, because their entire lives are apparently measured by how many skill points they have in a 14 year old mediocre MMO. Those folks have no problem burning out for absolutely no reward other than feat contribution.
The whole question is phrased wrong anyway. I was meaning who was even running casual to lock the daily/weekly loot with characters that weren't alts.
My farming toons are 150-250sp, 80-12 arts, Zoom/Flash allies (speed is everything in farming lol). and they have no problem running reg. I sometimes even run elite raids with no problem. I haven't ever run casual (except TOWW for some event) but I can't imagine how anything could be easier than reg. If I do end up doing these new feats, it'll be with much shorter Flashbacks than A&B or Strike Team. Too bad they didn't;t do this during the last "Story Arc". NU woulda been perfect.
Hoping they update Rip to sell the items from STU too. Allow flashbacks to give separate additional marks to allow us to unlock the styles from Rip as well as the Time keeper gloves for the feats too. I am really hoping this change is not meaning the end of STU. Watching the stream just now someone said "I hope DCUO sticks around for another 10 years". The devs did not sound so enthusiastic about it... Who knows, maybe they are just planning for the end now and just not told us.
Same thing here too, if I spam, it won't be at the bad set of flashbacks we currently have.It does irk me that some people are so impatient that they are already spamming and are at 30+. It's kinda like if someone chose to do those spam LPvE feats with Bludhaven instead of just waiting for Oa to rotate in. But I'm still hoping the closed thread about elite not counting being a misunderstoodment, since the mod talks about renown instead.
