Robot Sidekick vs 3% Crit Attack Chance Innate

Would the 10% really do more damage than the robot? Yeah it dies, but it can be easily summoned back by clipping it in a rotation. It does like 2 or 3 ticks if 200s and a big hit of 1k. I figured that would do more then the 10% magnitude personally. Did someone already test using that combat analyzer thing?

RS amounts to maybe 2% of your damage out in content. Increasing crit chance and mag are much, much more beneficial. RS is something to use for concept or if you don't have anything else useful to spec, as with a WM build.

Ignore the noob nonsense above - thats a lazy answer.

Generally, go crit. I use RS as a celestial PvE healer because I have my rotation of buffs, shields, heal, sc down and have an empty slot, so the little guy allows me to get a few damage points in and hes been known to take some damage for me, but I think this is more of the exception than the rule. I also use standoff weapons to stay out of the mix b/c celestial allows me to heal from afar, so hes helpful from that standpoint as well. I do enjoy having him around, but I think the majority of the commentary here is fair, that crit is your better choice.

What others have said. Out of the two, The crit chance is better. If you can fit it in, however, and have it make sense, why not get the robot.

I would not get it on a Meta or Magic hero/villain because reasons, but tech heroes and villains seem to make sense with it.

Hey! I like the little guy! Plus he takes aggro and doesn't die that often. I'm T6 and it's on my level! But yeah, over the crit innate, no it's not worth it.

Even though the answer is almost unanimous, does anyone have actual proof?
