Im glad synthetic mods are gone but going back to RnD, I think the required materials and exobyte amounts need to be lowered. Stats jumps from tier to next tier mods are not that huge so the realistic required mats for Mods should be like: Tier1: 1x Exobye, 1x simple mat Tier2: 2x Exobyte, 2x simple mat Tier3: 3x Exobyte, 3x simple mat, 1 complex mat Tier4: 4x Exobyte, 4x simple mat, 2 complex mat Tier5: 5x Exobyte, 5x simple mat, 2 complex mat Tier6: 6x Exobyte, 6x simple mat, 3 complex mat Tier7: 7x Exobyte, 7x simple mat, 3 complex mat Tier8: 8x Exobyte, 8x simple mat, 4 complex mat And so on... Right now the required amounts of Exobytes and simple+complex mats are super inflated. Newest end game content doesnt even drop enough salvageable gear to meet the insane amount of materials required for gear and generator mods and forget about actually farming the needed exobytes. One has to buy or already have exobytes stacked from before or he is gonna need months farming to properly mod. I love good RnD system but current required grind levels makes it off putting! No wonder why people search short cuts and were upset about discontinuing Synthetic mods.
