Today's patch: "Fixed a bug where Players could open a Menu using a Custom Keybind, but they couldn't close it using that same keybind" I may be the only one with this problem, but this change has become very inconvenient for me. The issue is that I use my (left) Ctrl key to open my inventory. I've always done this, and I find it very comfortable. Before the patch, I had to press Esc (or click the X in the top right) to close the inventory. Now pressing Ctrl again will close it. The issue is that Ctrl + Left Click is how you split a single item off a stack in inventory for PC mouse & keyboard users. I can't split item stacks this way anymore, because once I press Ctrl my inventory just closes. There is no way to adjust this keybind (many such PC specific keybinds cannot be customized). I often use this to separate a few items to send to alts, split my Nth Metal / Exobyte stacks, put stuff on broker, or trade. The other way to split stacks is **** + Left Click, which opens up the menu to input an amount to split off (I believe this is the default for controller players). It's awkward for MnK because you have to input the amount to split with your number keys and then click the "OK" button to confirm the split amount. When you want to split multiple single items out, it becomes very tedious. Using Ctrl + Left Click, I can keep Ctrl held down and just move my mouse back and forth clicking to continually split single items off. I would like to request the possibility that this specific change be reverted, or some toggle for it. Alternatively, this issue can be circumvented with the capability to remap PC specific keybinds (e.g. splitting stacks), or disabling Shift/Ctrl custom keybinds in menus, or only allowing Shift/Crrl keybinds to fire upon key release (instead of on down-press, so that they can still be used as combination keystrokes). This isn't going to be relevant to most players, so if you read this far, thanks. Feel free to comment how you feel about this change or this proposal, especially other PC MnK players. I should also note that another reason I find this change irksome is that this really is such a small thing, but it's been in the game for years, and I have never heard someone bring it up to get fixed. I thought it was just a feature, and I honestly preferred it that way. There are plenty of legitimate, significant (if not gamebreaking) bugs which have been sitting in the Arkham Asylum section of the forums for years, garnering heaps of player support without recognition or status reports from the devs. And this "bug" is what makes it into the patch.
Not the exact same case, but i also have issues with this "fix". I use a controller that, for some reason, game does not register the start button, so i use the d-pad to open the wheel menu(d-pad right) and inventory (d-pad down). But since this fix got implemented, everytime i open the inventory (or any other menu) it closes when i use the left stick moving down. Making it impossible to do anything. Like you said, the work around is to change the keybinds, in my case i had to remove the quick access to the inventory (d-pad down). And now i have to go throu the wheel menu to get into it.
