its not like wiping money would change anything. players will just save all the rare items they have wait for the wipe and flood the broker again. Devs would not only have to wipe money but wipe everyones items that they have stored away..

Answer: Gold Sellers. They could be that temporary solution to pad those in game banks to start the overpriced train all over again for those players looking to get their money back. This is why we need a more complete solution, instead of the "Duct Tape patches" that do not last long.

This is just a bandaid if they do it.

this could actually be some sort of long term plan to eliminate gold spammers. now it would just be a matter of watching for accounts who mail large sums of cash to random people then dropping the hammer of BAN on people.

Daybreak is partially to blame for giving exploiters a slap on the wrist for abusing these types of glitches. This time and last time.

Gold sellers will have nothing to sell if it's all wiped. A full wipe, account bound old items, and a fixed glitch all together will be the most thorough "fix". It won't happen like that though. No matter what they do self proclaimed innocent people are going to feel slighted. This went on too long

I think it would be fun for everyone to start at zero or like 1000. It would be like playing the game again grinding money and running content not for marks but for stuff to sell and to earn money

I personally feel that if a wipe happens or not accounts should have a 999,999,999 limit. Not character mind you but account.

The last time they wiped money they left people with up to $100M. If they did so again I imagine they would leave people with at last $500M. If the economy is properly fixed, you should eventually be able to buy the same amount of stuff with $500M as you could with $3B+ before the fix. Money is only worth what it's able to buy. It's a means, not the end.

Listing for a billion is not the same as selling for a billion. People can list an item for whatever price they like in the hopes of finding a sucker. Also, on the EU server at least, the broker seems to be down today.

Unfortunately, while you yourself have not outright violated any rules, you are actually a victim of those cheaters. The currency that those cheaters artificially added to the economy was then used to purchase goods that you were selling. Goods that would not have sold at those respective prices had there not been a large surplus of counterfeit currency. Somebody trying to sell their Arctic Material today can make a billion dollars, whereas even just a month or two ago it was barely 10% of that. The demand did not increase by 10x. The supply did not decrease by 90%. Instead, the counterfeit currency being introduced has devalued everyone's money, so prices increase.

You are not being "punished" by having some of this counterfeit currency removed. Just because you did not cheat or exploit to create it does not mean that it was created through legal means. And unfortunately, if you're working at a business and somebody comes into your store and pays you using counterfeit bills or forged checks, you lose money as the victim of this crime because they stole your goods or services without actually paying for it. The fact a sale took place does not somehow make the money legit; the money was still duped cash regardless.

So don't be mad at the developers for fixing the bug. Be mad at the cheaters and the gold sellers; they are the ones who ripped you off.

There not gonna do a money wipe, like I said above that's just putting a band-aid on this mess. They need to perma ban them, and not a 2 week suspension. That's nothing. There should be a 3 strikes rule and than they perma ban you like when it was under Sony's name. And if you make another account and do the same thing, they should IP ban you. And they should be moderators, as well like they do on Tera, it wouldn't that hard either. All these gold spammers like again when Sony had it.

100 mill is fair but it was completely wiped to 0 id cry lol
