[REQUEST] Please add an option to alter utility belts

    I have the impression, that the dorprate of CR87 utility belts has decreased a lot, only getting 84-86 in Pradox and Nexus, haven't seen any 87-belts in months, though they were dropping a lot more often before. The CR90 belts also drop too rarely, and if they do, it's mostly the wrong role. With DLC10 we will be able to buy belts, but not be able to equip 4 trinkets.

    It's not just the role, it's also the slots, which can be a disappointement. I'm playing with a controller and need to push three buttons to activate a slot, which is why I like to use the same order of trinkets in the belt on all my chars. (Like breakout in slot 1, buff in slot 2, consumable in slot 3 and supply drop in slot 4). But I can't do that, if I have a consumable slot in the wrong place.

    A lot of people I know just can't get the belt of the role and with the slots they want.
    Also a belt with higher stats but not the same or better slots (like wildcards only) doesn't mean a real upgrade to me. A higher utility belt should only have the same or better slots to be a real improvement.

    This can be getting very frustrating. We need to own the DLC Hand of Fate to even equip a belt. We need to spend marks to unlock two of 4 slots and still we can't do anything about which slots we have in which order.

    So I would like to suggest an improvement for utility belts, which gives us the chance to change a belt to make it possible to earn the belt as we want it instead of just being dependend on luck to get the right drop.
    I thought about some kind of crafting, which might cost materials, which need to be farmed, or marks, or both. It shoud not be too rare, but can be a little work.

    What I would like to be able to change about utility belts is the role, the position of slots and the type of slots.
    This way I could turn a tank-belt into a healer belt, move the wildcard slot to the first position and change the consumable slot into a wildcard or trinket slot.


    TL;DR
    PLease add an option to change role, slot positon and slot type of utility belts through crafting, which we need to earn marks and/or crafting materials for, so we can earn our wanted utility belt instead of being dependend on luck only.

    The utility belts that drop in DLC10 are unattuned so hopefully the drop rate is desirable. If it is, it will be quite nice. If not, this feature would be amazing to have. Either way, very nice idea!

    Also I read in test that the belts will have trinket and wildcard spots only. So no being forced to put a consumable in, but still having an option to do so.


    Edit: it shouldn't matter what order you put everything in as long as each belt has the same kind of slots. And it's not another 87 eps belt where you get 3 consumable slots and one trinket while the other roles only have 1 consumable slot and 3 trinket options in there 87 belts.

    Thanks for your positive feedback. :) An actual thumbs up might help to get a little more attention to that topic from the devs. :)

    What I worry about regarding the unattuned belts dropping from the T6-alert is the droprate. If they drop as rarely as the onec in AnB, I'm not very optimistic of getting one anytime soon. :( And if I have to buy one, I would lose a slot for a trinket, because the vendor-belts all have one consumable slot.
    To be forced to change the order of my trinkets or to replace a trinket with a consumable because of the slots makes a belt less desirable to me.
    I'd rather spend marks or crafting stuff to change the belt as I would like it, even if it would be 100 marks or 50 complex.

    I just remembered another idea, which I forgot in my opening post:

    If we use an armory, while some of our belt-slots have expired, please put the items we had in the slots into the belt anyway and just disbable them, same as when we change to a belt, which has the wrong slots.
    At the moment the items, which would have been put into slots, which are expired, end up somewhere in our inventory, which can be annoying, if you have to switch midraid and midcombat.

    They're adding utility belts with the T6 vendor so you'll be able to purchase whichever role belt you want.
    I still think they have consumable slots on them though. Lord only knows why they haven't changed UBs to have only Wildcard, or why they put the restrictions there in the first place.

    A simple addition: Someone on another forum made an interesting observation...Now that we have utility belts, why not let us use those for our regular sodas. This way, we'd open up the slot to put another power.

    anb resets every week where the t6 alert is daily so your chances r better as soon as the dlc hits live

    Or just make everything wild card, coz forcing players into specific Utility Belt set ups is stupid. :p The point of them is so that we can make use of multiple things that we want to use, right?

    I have only about a week left to complete my Polemarch-set for the bounties, but still haven't seen a single utility-belt drom from the alert, which I run daily.

    The droprate is again too low.
    But if this Feature would be implemented, then it might be worth to buy the vendor-belt and mod it the way I would like it to be.

    I'm just going to stick with my 90 belt and save my marks. A belt with a consumable slot is a waste of marks to me.

    When People said we shouldn't bother about the 90-belt from AnB, there's gonna drop an unattuned belt from TD, I was sceptical, if the drop-rate will be as low as in AnB.
    Unfortunatelly I was right and still couldn't get the belt on my main.

    Please add this Feature instead and I'd be happy to earn marks and crafting mats to build me the belt I want.

    About the slots.... Just make them all wildcard and increase the MoT to unlock them.

    The Utility belts from the new duo and alerts have a consumable-Slot, same as the vendor-belt again.
    This is a huge disappointement, which is why I want to remind the Dev-Team of this request as compromise to at least make us work for upgrading our belt, if they insist on giving us useless consumable-Slots. :(

    Here we go again:

    The utility-belts from the new DLC have a consumable slot.
    I rather stick with my 98 or 100 belt from before than replacing it with a belt 102 or 110, when I have a totally use- and worthless consumable-slot in it.

    Please add a feature to alter belts, so we can put the stuff in, which we want!
