How do i get renown for the rogues? I was looking at my renown today and couldn't figure out where it drops.
Do the 4 solo challenges in T1-3 pertaining to tech villains. Gotham Warehouse, Joker’s Funhouse, Old Gotham Subway and East End Regal Hotel.
Go to Central City and grab the Rogue Bounty mission... Each of the 9 Rogues you need to locate and defeat awards 40 points of reknown each time you defeat one and that is divided between the three factions.. Star Labs, Wayne tech and the Sentinels of Magic. For more info check out this web page (CC Bounties) which has links showing where each Rogue can spawn and how much renoun they give to which faction.
Now three are many other ways to earn renoun as besides the Rogues just like 900 mentioned... All those solo challenges between T1 and T3 award 125 renoun each time one of them is completed.. Oh and if your CR gets high and say the tier one solo's stop handing out Marks 9supposedly no longer relevant) they will still keep dropping renoun tokens worth 125 points .. Along with all the armor drops and an alternate reward box so keep running them... You'll get done faster that way. Those solos also are divided up and that token grants you renoun for a certain faction. Big hint #2 so if you have reached 6500 renoun and "TRUSTED" status with one faction ... say the Sentinels of Magic.... You can stop doing those solos since that renoun token at that point is only good for earning a little in game cash by selling it. Tip #3 of course there are FEAT POINTS for completing X number of solo challenges and usually you are way past that content being relevant before you complete those.. so if you want THOSE feats.. keep doing all of them and just sell off the tokens you don't need anymore
Dang I have got to stop thinking of new stuff AFTER I hit send LOL You should have at least one FREE token that was awarded that grants you a 25% increase in renoun. There is another available when you complete the mission where you first help and then wind up defeating a possessed cat woman in the Gotham Museum. AT Least I THINK that's the right one .. its been a while. Now for tip #4 Okay that renoun increaser token has a thirty minute time limit so if you just use the thing and then go run solo challenges you MAY get through all of them once while it is still active depending on what your CR is. BUT.. if you just gather up a whole pile of the tokens you are awarded when you complete those daily missions and when you have whole bunch then use the 25% increase You can get an extra 25% on all of them. So lets say you run every solo challenge between t1-t3 for 2-3 days and have between 26 and 39 little tokens to click to get all that renoun. NOW use the renoun enhancer and instead of getting 125 points worth every single one of those will get you 156 points. OKAY......................... I think that's it Can i think of anything else? Has nothing to do with where the renoun goes though.... Click on the link I gave him and then click a Rogue. The renoun is divided between all three factions and STRANGELY Wayne tech actually gets less than Star Labs and the Sentinels. Still can not figure out exactly why but here is the break down: Weather Wizard awards 40 points to Sentinels Abra Kadabra 40 points to the Sentinels Pied Piper 40 points to the Sentinels and Heat Wave (?) 40 points to the Sentinels Captain Cold 40 points to Star Labs Captain Boomerang 40 points to Star Labs Zoom 40 points to Star Labs The top 40 points to Star Labs and the Trickster 40 points to Star Labs Now I can buy off of Weather Wizard since he does use a Wand to stir up things like tornadoes and tidal waves but HEAT WAVE uses a gun to fire off blasts of fire how did her get stuck in with them? While Abra uses tech to make it appear he has magical powers he still pretends to be a mage and one could argue the piper's flute casts a spell on its victims And I realize that none of those guys are enemies of Batman but like i said go check out the link.... none of those 9 gives Wayne tech anything?????? If your going to toss Heat Wave in with the magic side of the house .. why not just divid it up so three of each hands out renoun to each faction? Want to get really technical all of them are from Barry's Rogue's list so why aren't they all handing renoun to START LABS? Now the solo challenges do better... Defeat Penguin in the sewers below Gotham and you get 125 for Wayne Tech. Defeat Doc Psycho in the hospital and 125 points goes to Star labs. defeat cat woman and 125 goes to the Sentinels BUT you spend most of that mission recovering magical cat's eyes from bosses and Cat Woman is under a spell when she goes from being your contact to your final boss. The one that always confused me was defeating Poison Ivy in the Green house. You are in Gotham City...you are battling one of Batman's villains and even battling Robin after she takes control of him with her pheromones but after you finish that mission 125 goes to STAR LABS?
Dude, seriously, stop. The Rogues is one of the villain factions you earn renown with. We have Heat Wave in the Hall Of Doom tech wing.
He's half right tho, the CC bounty and the classic bounty missions do give renown. I forget who the villains have to kill for Rogue renown tho.
I did all that stuff years ago we use to farm central city just to get the gear to be able to get into fos 2 and 3 back in the day . Does it go away? Im' at 383 skill points and was just looking at stuff to do and saw that my rogues renown was at 125
No he's all right.. THAT same link I posted earlier has the list of CC bounties for the villain side as well and clicking on any of those HERO bounties shows how much and to which faction it goes to. NOW if the OP is a villain and ONLY want to know where and how to get renoun for the rogue faction in the hall of Doom.. start right there and check to see which HERO hands of renoun for that faction In fact I'll make it REALLY easy for him since I went and checked.. NOT one of the CC bounties for the villain side gives anything to the Rogues faction.. It all goes to Lexcorp or the Cult of Trigon. Excuse me for seeing renoun and the WORD rogue in the same sentence and assuming he was asking about heroes.. I only completed the defeat 500 ROGUES feat 8 times with different alts. Since he wants renoun for the ROGUE FACTION which he should have taken 10 seconds to add to his request since a LOT more of us are on the hero side than the villains of course means it the only option the Op has is those solo challenges like 900 said.. and I STRONGLY suggest using my advice about stockpiling and using that 25% enhancer on a LOT of renoun tokens at the same time. Those solo challenges are broken down between the three factions as well So at BEST he is getting maybe 4 a day that actually help him get the Rogues Faction increased. Now just do those 4-5 missions and hang on to the tokens for a week and suddenly you are getting 156 renoun for as many as say 35 missions instead of 125 for 35. Doing the math that works pout to gaining 5360 renoun in 1 week instead of just 4375. gee only takes 6500 renoun to be maxed out and you do get some by completing mission below 30 level .. My way in 7 days he could practically be done. Oh and here OP check out THIS web page for a break down on which Solo challenge missions will get you renoun for the rogue faction. NOW aside from having to adjust my ADVICE from hero side to villains some one tell what about any of it is wrong? If you have already maxed out your renoun on the CULT OF TRIGON you don't need those renoun tokens anymore so unless you are working on the solo challenge feat why do THOSE missions? That takes care of my 2nd and third tip and seems to me the math shows tip #4 works no matter which side or faction you are dealing with. gee DUDE forgive me for trying to be helpful. I spent a good bit of time doing research so i didn't hand out a line of BS and even provided more info AFTER being called out for not understanding exactly what the OP needed, And i G(IT him detailed info on exactly what he needs to get the renoun he wants for HIS faction.. Oh and to the OP.... I'd suggest going ahead and doing all those solo challenges and geting to 6500 on all three factions. EACH level you obtain for each faction gets you more feat points so even if its not the one for YOUR mentor ypou can still benefit from getting those as well. Do not JUST work on the Rogue faction. You kind of skipped over that part 900 or did you forget you get 10 feat points for achieving cooperative, friendly , favorable and trusted so basically using your advice you just told him to skip getting about 80 feat points while working on even more for completing solo challenge feats? Not to mention the fact that as he gains renoun with those factions he can also by gear from those VENDORS and gain more feat points for more styles.
He asked a question and I answered it. Then you wrote an entire essay of information that wasn’t applicable and would have been incredibly disorienting if I had just left it there. I apologise for being so blunt but you just kept going after my much more lighthearted initial attempt to tell you that you’d got the wrong end of the stick. And I’m pretty sure you get the renown feats automatically when you collect renown. So I didn’t tell him to skip anything.
Im on my hero. I just ran the c.c. bounies and it didn' give me anything. Could it be a villain renown that some how is poppng up under my hero side?
Oh! Now you say it, I think I remember hearing about a bug where people were getting renown from the wrong faction for their morality... was a long time ago, though. Then again, bug fixes in this game are a privilege, not a right. I apologise, I misread the situation too :/
And yet GEE isn't it amazing that he is a hero and every damn thing i wrote in my "ESSAY" is applicable. and by the way.. YOU ONLY get renown feast for the FACTION you earn them in .. DO I HAVE to provide another damn link to prove that? Because its out there... You get feats for gaining renown for each level for each faction. Screw it here check out THIS link now i have to warn you you need to scroll down until you find the table showing the renown feats and its a ways down to but scroll down and look.. Funny isn't it ? you can get 25(not even 10 ) feat points by gaining enough renown with each different faction by reaching the favorable and trusted marks... NOW do you REALLY think you can click on a Wayne Tech renown token and increase the amount of renown gained for Star Labs? Of COURSE all three have those feats and of course to get them you NEED to get enough tokens for EACH faction. Okay If you are checking renown as a hero and it is showing renown going to the Rogue faction.. you are glitched and need to report it. To answer your other question as long as you have not gotten to that point with a particular faction where you have reached the max of 6500 point YES defeating any CC Rogue bounty should be increasing the renown for the faction it is assigned to. Still works even after you have passed relevancy.. TRUST me I know i hunted a ton of the Rogues solo long past them dropping marks (being considered relevant content) and got renown for all of them. YOU may need to submit a ticket to customer service if your a hero and getting credit for renown to a villain faction.
Oh by the way while i was doing the research and passing along those links something popped upo i completely forgot about mainly because I never really used it.. You can also get renown for any faction by going to the vendor on the lower level in that wing and BUYING tokens with marks. I can't remember how much those cost or how much renown they give out BUT it is another way to earn renown.
Ok, you guys have pretty well covered classic game renown...how about end game renown? AF3, E3, etc? How do you get *that* renown?
